The house can be rented as a 3-bedroom, 4-bedroom or 5-bedroom rental. You can add or remove bedrooms up to 48 hrs before checking in.
The nightly rate for a three-bedroom apartment is $700, a four-bedroom apartment is $800, and a five-bedroom apartment is $900 plus tax.
The cleaning fee for 3 bedrooms is $400 per stay, for 4 bedrooms, $450 per stay, and for 5 bedrooms, $500 per stay.
The heart of the house is a fully-equipped kitchen with all you need to cook and bake.
Our kitchen opens on a large custom-made table that seats up to 10 people and offers filtered views of the lake and Eagle Rock.
The kitchen also opens on a deck, ideally furnished for relaxing or barbecuing, with a table and benches in the summer.
The living room is next to the kitchen. It has a large sofa where you can read, watch TV, or play board games.
All three bedrooms are located away from each other for ultimate privacy and quiet time.
Main house:
-- Top floor:
= > Master 1 has a queen-size bed. Open bathroom with shower.
= > Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and a twin bed bunked together.
-- Garden level:
= > Master 2 has a king-size bed and a twin bed. Bathroom with shower.
Second unit:
= > Master 3 has a queen size bed and a twin bunk bed. A sofa that opened into a comfortable queen-sized bed (linen for the sofa upon request). Bathroom with bathtub and shower.
= > Master 4 has a queen size bed. Bathroom with a shower.
The garden is fully fenced, which is unique in the Tahoe area and quite a gift if you stay here with children or are allowed to bring a pet.
The yard is oriented south and has a horseshoe run and a fire pit to talk endlessly under the stars unless you prefer to relax in the hot tube after a long hike, water skiing in the lake, or a day on the slopes. Aspens, maples, poplars, and pines bring you the shade you want and need in the summer to rock you into a well-deserved nap. We put out chairs and a summer sofa when the days are warm.
We have some A/C in the top master bedrooms. All rooms have windows on all sides and fan towers to create a breeze.
The house is part of the private gated Lake Park Homeowner Association, which gives you privileged access to over 800 feet of the private beach area, children's park, volleyball and basketball courts, boat docking, bocce ball run, horseshoe pit, BBQ and picnic tables, etc.
One dog per stay is allowed at the house. for a fee of $75 per stay. It would be best if you inquired first.

About the host
Hosted by Laure
Forest, mountain, or beach? Boating, skiing, hiking or biking? No more difficult choices; Tahoe fulfills all. Our family is quite active, and in Tahoe, there is always something to do: hike, a new beach to relax at, a new concert in town, and a unique sunset to photograph.
Why they chose this property
Our house is ideally located, so close to town but far enough to be quiet, within walking distance, and with filtered lake views. It has private beach access within walking distance of the forest and the Tahoe meadow. Our house is also seven minutes from Homewood, where you can park and ski without traffic jams and crazy parking nightmares. It is fifteen minutes from beautiful Emerald Bay and its turquoise water. Our house has four master bedrooms plus one bedroom; it is a perfect layout to accommodate everyone:
Families with little kids waking up early in the AM. Teenagers who want to sleep in. Grand-parents who want a quiet nap after lunch.
The big plus for us is the large, fenced garden, as we have a giant dog and plenty of children visiting.
