The KnightPlace is an acre compound consisting of a duplex & small cottage with plenty of off-street parking available. The Michael is our first completed unit — it’s a 2 BD, 1 BA. Perfect for Mercer students, residents, visitors, travel nurses and other traveling workers who need to be close to downtown who travel alone or want to pick their own roommate. Nearby areas are rough but this property has high visibility and is well lit. Due to the location of Mercer University, this area of Macon is improving. Mercer Village has many great places to eat, and it’s very close to downtown. Off-street parking available for 2 cars. NOT for children, pets, or parties.

The host was amazing, very quick to respond, and you could tell they keep great care of their properties as they came by frequently to care for the property and property next door.

We are from Macon and don’t live far from any of the locations. Andy has been a landlord for over 25 years and currently works at Mercer Medical School CDAC. Susie has worked for almost 25 years for a cleaning chemical manufacturer. Our two teenage boys, as well as our parents, help us around the properties. It’s a real family business.

Why they chose this property

This property was purchased from my brother-in-law, Michael Knight, and his brother and sister - hence the name "The KnightPlace". This was their family residence growing up in the 1950s. We have dedicated this property to the Knight Family keeping the history of the property alive. We are renovating each unit and making it available to travel nurses and others who need to be close to downtown. This is a more affordable option. We are trying to make it a nice, cozy place.

What makes this property unique

This property is close to downtown and Mercer University and Mercer Village. Other Things to Note: We ozone, disinfect and wash all linens between guests. We don’t use bedspreads, only duvet covers with shams and they are washed between guests. I live minutes from the property and am available if you should need any assistance.
