The Old Bothy is a semi-detached cottage, on a working dairy farm, near the village of Bolton Low Houses and Wigton in Cumbria. This cottage sleeps four people and has two bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double and one twin, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a patio with furniture. The Old Bothy is a great base for exploring the Lake District National Park, the many towns nearby, and even southern Scotland. Please Note - This property does not accept commercial lets during the summer period.

Patio with furniture plus shared, grassed picnic/play area. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 1.5 miles. Note: As property is on a working farm, children should be supervised at all times. Note: The owner has dogs. Note: There are 3 steps leading up from the patio/parking area to the property. Please Note - This property does not accept commercial lets during the summer period.

Lovely cosy cottage close to the lakes. Our little girl loved the play area and animals. Would highly recommend this place. Excellent range of homemade and home grown produce on offer to buy too. Hosts were friendly and helpful making us feel very welcome.
