Our glamorous Texas casita sleeps 4 comfortably and is just a 5-minute walk from Gruene Hall and Historic Gruene. Guests have private Guadalupe River access, a picnic area with a BBQ pit, three fire pits, and multiple outdoor seating areas.

Located in the heart of the Gruene historic district, The Casitas at Gruene are perfect for small groups, couples, weddings, girls' weekends and more.

The Casitas are a five-minute leisurely walk from Gruene Hall and other live music venues, plus endless shopping and dining options! We are located less than an hour from five of Trip Advisor's Best Vacation Spots in Texas, making the Casitas the perfect place to stay on your next trip!

Each Casita features one bedroom, a private bathroom, a living room with a sofa bed, and a kitchenette. When you're done kicking up your heels at Gruene Hall, browsing boutiques, or floating the Guadalupe, come back to your Casita to unwind in complete comfort. All Casitas have access to the river, community charcoal grills, fire pits, and beautiful patio areas.

The Casitas are owned and operated by longtime residents of New Braunfels. We hand-picked every detail, from floor to ceiling, to create the most luxurious accommodations in Gruene. Each Casita is stocked with a coffee bar, wine glasses, fresh linens, and everything you need to feel right at home.

Great place to stay. Very nice and exceptionally clean. Beautiful place to hang out on the river. Walking distance to everything in Gruene. We loved it there and had a great time. The deer that hung around the place was a bonus. The host was the best.

The place was beautiful! It had wildlife and the river section it was on was so nice and refreshing! The host was wonderful! The only issue we ran into was the steep and twisting ramp to the river. Being an older couple I would have liked to know this before booking. There are golf carts you can rent but it would have been nice to know in advance if you are budgeting the trip. That being said, we would go back in a minute!!

The goal for selecting the casitas was comfortable accommodations and river access for river sitting and hopefully people watching. It surpassed our expectations on both! I’ve never slept better and the casitas may be the best spot on the river! It is just a short distance from a major tube launch. Plenty of people watching! The best spot for river sitting. The facility provides everything you need for such a great time! You will love this place! We did for sure! Ann and Monroe were absolutely great! Walking distance to all the fun and food Gruene has to offer. Thank you for a perfect long weekend!

Weekend getaway

The Casita was easy to find with plenty of room to park right outside the front door, nice and cozy and close to Greune Hall where we we’re headed. Quick walk to restaurants and shopping, overall a great place to stay for a weekend getaway.

Perfect Gruene River Getaway

This was such a pleasant find for a quick weekend getaway. The cottage was beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, within walking distance of shopping, dining and Gruene Hall. Have already recommended to friends and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Spot for Weekend getaway

One bedroom cottage is perfect for a couple getaway weekend. Perfect location with river access and short talk to downtown Gruene. Great setup with single master bedroom and large den area. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in Gruene.

Such a cute Casita! The bed was the most comfortable bed I think I’ve ever slept on! Super comfy and clean and just down the road from Grune Hall. We will definitely stay again when we can stick around a little longer.
