2025 REMODEL -- PRIVATE BEACHFRONT HOME RANCH

Welcome to our newly remodeled SEAGRAPE private home at 19806 Gulf Blvd. This Beach Front home is located in the quaint and quiet town of Indian Shores. Enjoy Direct Views of the Beach, Gulf of Mexico from your Private covered Gazebo! You are just a few steps to the beach.

ACCOMODATIONS:

Our private beach home offers 3 bedrooms -- a Master king size bed, queen size bed and twin bunk beds (kids only). Both the Master bedroom and "kids" twin bed enjoy a partial view of the ocean The "kids room" offers two bunk beds both with a twin on the upper bunk (ideal for younger kids under 10 years old) and one of the bottom bunk.

There are 2 fully remodeled bathrooms - the master and guest bathroom. The master bath offers a spacious walk-in shower and large vanity. The guest bathroom includes a tub/shower.

This is a ranch home with only 1 step!

The newly remodeled spacious kitchen offers all the modern amenities including a dining area for 6. There is also a laundry room conveniently located next to the kitchen.

There is also very spacious family room plus an extra reading room and private gazebo to enjoy the beautiful ocean views!

OCCUPANCY- this property can accommodate a MAXIMUM of 6 guests (max of 4 adults and 2 kids- we consider guests of all ages in our guest count). Once you book, you will need to provide the first name and age of all guests who will be on property during your stay.

This home provides ample private parking for 2 cars/SUVs, beach chairs and BBQ outdoor grill with utensils.

We offer linens, hair dryer, 6 beach towels, 2 beach chairs, and travel size soaps/shampoo for our guests to enjoy!

Perfect for families! Great location within walking distance to some fantastic restaurants.

Seagrape at Indian Shores

This house is a great spot for a family vacation. We had our two kids, us, and grandma stayed with us in this beach house. The house is an easy walk steps from the beach. We've been to Indian Shores beach twice now and it's a great beach, not as crowded as Clearwater. Beautiful teal water. There's a cute little ice cream shop called Little Island that's within walking distance. There's also a souvenir store within walking distance. We highly recommend this house.

A beautiful spacious house. 2 bathrooms!Lots of room for privacy, where the teens can get away from their parents. We made meals at the house and also ventured out ice cream.The beach is out the back door. It was a dream come true for me.

Great location

We booked this home because we had friends book the main house owned by the same VRBO owner. It made a difference in how much we liked our stay because they have a pool that we were able to share with them. The beach access was fantastic and part of the reason why we loved this place.

Great beach house

We had an amazing stay here! So many great local restaurants. Beach was amazing. It was really windy when we where there so the sand dunes provided us much needed wind blockage. My teen girls enjoyed just walking the beach searching for shells. We will be back for sure.

Best Vacation

We absolutely loved our stay at the beach! This property is just steps away from the beach, the house is clean/new and the property manager/owner were amazing about communicating with us! The restaurants in the area are so delicious! The beach is clean and private so we did not feel like we were on top of other families. We highly recommend. We are definitely looking forward to our next stay!

Celebration weekend!

While searching for a place to stay in the Indian Shores/St. Petersburg area, we were delighted to find Seagrape, hosted by Liz and Chris. This place is fantastic: Clean, very updated, and literally steps to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here with our family (3 adults, 3 kids) and having plenty of space and options, we highly recommend this experience. Communication was clear, timely, and professional, and everything was just as posted in their advertising. We would definitely book again!

Great property on the beach. Peaceful, simple, small, single level and brand new inside. Really enjoyed quick access to beach for shell hunting in morning, relax in mid-day sun and watching sunset. No crossing busy 4 lane to get to beach!! Minutes away from great eating and shopping; Candy Kitchen, Natchmans, Shells, OG Crabby Bills, Conch Republic, Johns Pass and many more. Really appreciated the outside gazebo; apply sunscreen, shower and foot wash. Definitely will check availability for our next Florida vacation.

January getaway

Excellent location with easy access to beach and nearby restaurants. Very clean. Flooring installed poorly; there is cracking in the kitchen area. We didn't use the bedroom in the garage because it's not convenient to the bathroom, and the step up into the kitchen could be a danger in the dark. We suggest the owner stock the bathrooms with facial tissues.

Wonderful winter break stay Feb 2025

This property is very cute, very clean and so convenient to everything! This was our 3rd trip to this area. The property manager Liz was very good at responding to my emails with questions before our trip. The house kind of gave that old Florida charm mixed with the new after the remodel. The construction that was going on in the owner's other beach house never caused us any issues. The contractor even asked if they were in our way or bothering us. We did, though, buy some sand toys at Walmart for our boys as there were none. We did leave them for the next family to use. The house was perfect, but, unfortunately, mother nature did keep us from much beach time.

Great Stay!

This was the perfect beach getaway! I am usually picky about cleanliness and comfort and this house met all my expectations. It was VERY clean, the beds were comfortable (more comfortable than my own actually), and the house was beautifully decorated. The beach was also perfect - white sand and uncrowded. There were lawn chairs for us to use and an outdoor grill. I also had a few questions, and the owners were very responsive. The only thing I will say is that that the queen bedroom (although beautifully decorated) is in a garage. With a window AC unit and the window propped open, it was not usable for us. I didn't feel it comfortable having either of my little boys (3 and 1) stay in the room because it is slightly removed from the rest of the house. I also tried to sleep in the room one night, but it was bright and loud (being closest to the street), and pretty cold (but I know that our weather was a little unusual for Florida). We really couldn't use this room. However, the rest of the house was big enough for us.

Easy access to the beach

Very clean with like new furnishings and decor. Nice king size bed and in suite bathroom. Light and bright. Cute reading area. Easy access to the main road and to the beach. Walkable to most places. Charming and quaint neighborhood. Good size kitchen and eating area. All new appliances. There weren’t any cooking supplies in the way of salt, pepper, spices, cooking oil, foil, plastic wrap, etc. Plan on having to stock every thing from cleaning supplies and soap to all pantry items, especially if you plan to cook. The bunk room would not be suitable for older kids. The queen bedroom is in a renovated garage and has a window AC which made us a bit uneasy for security reasons and made for a noisy night of sleep, but the neighborhood seems really safe and we got over it. Easy walk to the beach, but you have to work for a true ocean view because of the house in front of you. No table or chairs to sit outside to eat meals and hang out. I think this rental is very new to the scene and updates will be made accordingly. We would definitely consider returning now that we know what to expect as this place made for an easy, accessible, and private beach vacation which is everything we wanted.

Wow! Thank you for taking the time to write such a comprehensive review. Quite honestly I appreciate the feedback and agree with most of it. I would however like to provide some perspective that maybe helpful to future guests. Cleaning supplies and kitchen spices - Florida law does not allow us to put any opened food products or cleaning supplies in vacation rentals it is a potential risk for young children. given this, we will continue to comply with the law and not leave any spices or open containers of cleaning supplies. We do have provide Travel size dishwasher soap, dishwasher pellets, sponge and a few Kitchen trash bags. We also provide travel size soaps for the showers . Outside seating - We do have a covered gazebo for this beach house to enjoy it has benches to sit and enjoy the sunsets and relax while you’re grilling at the barbecue grill I may see if we can put a table at the gazebo if that would be helpful

We love Indian Shores! It is a quiet and quaint city without all of the congestion of the bigger beach areas. Indian Shores is a part of the barrier island located 20 minutes from Tampa. The origin of the Indian Shores/Indian Rocks name is unknown but the pioneer settler Harvey K. Hendrick, who arrived in this area in 1890 remarked, "I liked the place, I thought it was the most beautiful place on God's green footstool.

We just purchased Seagrape in January 2020 because we wanted a PRIVATE get away for our family and friends. There are 2 private single family homes on this property:

19808 is a 3 bedroom and 2 bath.
19806 is a 3 bedroom and 2 1/2 bath with a private pool.

We do rent both properties together for large family gatherings up to 18 guests including adults and kids.

Seagrape is considered a historic home in Indian Shores. It was featured in a film, In the Line of Duty. It has such a peaceful atmosphere once you set foot on the property. This is the first time this property has been put on the vacation rental market. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
