Historic villa with air conditioning, swimming pool, and garden, very well maintained.



Located 15 minutes walking from the historic centre. Capacity for 8 people, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms.

Discover this magnificent historic villa, built at the beginning of the 20th century and completely renovated. Located in a peaceful residential neighborhood of Bordeaux, just 15 minutes walking or 5 minutes by bus from the historic center, this house is regularly maintained and in perfect condition.



The house has a large tree-lined and flowery garden, with a private swimming pool, a plancha/barbecue, an outdoor garden lounge with sunbeds, a table for lunch or dinner outside with additional lamps, and an outdoor shower.



The villa includes two dining areas. The first, bright and located in the conservatory near the kitchen, features an extendable table that can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. The second is a large reception table in the living room.



Upstairs, 4 spacious bedrooms are equipped with very comfortable bedding and are all fitted with individual and silent air conditioning. 2 of the rooms are suites with private bathrooms. The other two rooms share a common bathroom with a shower and double washbasin.



We pay special attention to the cleanliness of all areas of the house, particularly the bedrooms and bathrooms.



The villa is equipped with high-speed internet and a TV with international channels.



A bicycle rental service is located 20 minutes walking from the villa in the city centre, ideal for enjoying Bordeaux. The villa includes a passage that overlooks the garden and allows bicycles to be stored safely.



All meal delivery services such as Deliveroo and UberEats are available. An excellent pizzeria, "Bocce", is only 8 minutes walking distance and also does delivery. Several very good restaurants are located 5 minutes walking distance from the villa.



Travellers can easily access public transport and the main tourist attractions in Bordeaux.

Perfect place to stay while visiting Bordeaux. The owners were very helpful and responsive during the entire stay. It’s a beautiful home. The stores are all very close by with a butcher shop, a cheese shop, a grocery store, pharmacy and multiple bakeries! Easy living. The pool was our favorite part as it was incredibly hot during our stay. The pool is gorgeous. We loved every minute of our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Delightful Bordeaux villa

The villa is beautiful with numerous distinctive features. There are many rooms for a family or group to spread out. The upstairs deck overlooking the pool is peaceful with beautiful night views. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. Also, the location is great, only a short walk to excellent shops and cafes. The communication with the hosts was easy and helpful. We hope that we get a chance to come back.

This was a great property for relaxing, cooking, as well as a base for exploring Bordeaux. We were 6 couples and had plenty of space. The kitchen was very well equipped (two of the kids with us are professional chefs). The pool was great, lots of places to eat inside or out. Many interesting pieces of art. Nearby transit lines 2, 9, and 16 ran frequently. Beds are comfortable. Very quiet at night.

Fabulous!

A group of family and friends stayed here for a quick side trip, and it was such a relaxing, beautiful, comfortable stay. The host was terrific, meeting us at the home and showing us how to use every amenity. My only complaint is that I didn’t get the details on how to check in until the day before our arrival, and I wasn’t getting responses to my communications — and that always makes me so nervous. But in the end, it worked out beautifully. The house is amazing. Can’t recommend it enough. Can’t wait to return.

Comfortable home in Bordeaux

We spent four days at the beautiful home in Bordeaux. This home was the best VRBO property we have ever stayed in. What made the home unique is that it was actually someone's home, not a rental property. We learned that the family has lived there since 1995. As a result, it is warm and comfortable, and equipped with all amenities. The furniture is very comfortable and the house is decorated with a degree of panache not typically found in most homes, let along VRBO properties. Everything we needed--Starbucks, park, supermarket, several restaurant options and downtown Bordeaux were all within a reasonable walking distance.

One of our best VBRO experiences

The property and the hosts (Julie and Antoine) were extraordinary. The villa is absolutely beautiful with our every need accommodated. The location is perfect for accessing everything by car or by metro. The parking space was especially valuable. The garden/pool is gorgeous and so peaceful. The villa's appointments are exquisite. The hosts were flexible when our flights were changed by the airline. They had common sense rules (not a long list of checkout requirements). Excellent information was provided about operating all of the appliances as well as the neighborhood businesses and restaurants. Our daughter who is living/working in Bordeaux exclaimed over the "great neighborhood". We did not want to leave!

Family holiday in Bordeaux

We spent a lovely week here with grandparents and children ( age11-15) . The house and garden are just gorgeous. The interior is spacious and stylish with a homely feel and the garden, pool and balcony provide plenty of outdoor areas to relax in sunshine or shade. It was lovely to find plenty of towels as well as robes and some toiletries in the bathrooms. The kitchen is well appointed with store cupboard basics left for us. Julie was a really helpful host who made the checkin and departure very straightforward. The property is in a great location with shops and supermarkets at the end of the street. Bordeaux centre is easily accessed on foot and there are regular buses from the nearby stop. I would be happy to recommend this property.
