The luxurious villa is tastefully decorated and well equipped and located near Rethymno. It includes an open plan kitchen, dining and living room with sliding doors to a covered terrace. Steps lead down to the pool, pool terrace and garden. The living room leads into a small hall and from there to the bathroom and two bedrooms. The master bedroom has fitted wardrobes and patio doors to the garden. Steps lead directly to the pool and garden. The other bedroom is furnished with two single beds and also has fitted wardrobes. The shower room is also accessible from the hall. The living room and both bedrooms have air conditioning. A staircase from the terrace leads to the roof terrace where all day the sun is shining with views over the beautiful surrounding countryside and the sea.

Just lovely!

Vila Athena is delightful, very well equipped, in a quiet location but close to bars and tavernas it is the perfect base from which to explore and enjoy some of the nearby beaches.

Lovely holiday villa with pool

We (family of four) really enjoyed the villa. It had everything we needed, with a well-equiped kitchen, amazing pool and comfortable beds. Sunsets are amazing to view from the roof terrace too. We loved exploring Crete, using this villa as a base. Highly recommend this villa to everyone.

wonderful holidays

We spent wonderful holidays in this house. The place is quiet, rooms are large and confortable with nice furnitures. The kitchen contains a large variety of cooking tools. Cleaning is included and regularly made. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool (whose size is nice)! Assuming you rent a car, the location enables to switch between quiet beaches in the South, trendy places in Rethymno, cultural visits near Héraklion.

Wonderful villa in the hills

This beautiful villa and garden, sited opposite olive groves, with spectacular sunset views of the sea, had absolutely everything we could have needed for a fabulous holiday. All was as described, well appointed, and clean. There are lots of different corners, with chairs, cushions and bed chairs, so we could each enjoy our own space comfortably. The pool was crystal clear, and we had lots of fun. Don't forget to bring your own pool towels. The owner could not have been more helpful, swiftly responding to our queries, and providing really comprehensive information about the villa, and great recommendations for local restaurants and beaches, as well as trips further afield. The location is quite remote, so a car is a must. Would highly recommend.

Traumhaftes Haus mit Pool

Unsere Familie hatte eine wunderbare Woche Urlaub in diesem tollen gut ausgestatteten Haus. Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Der Pool ist wirklich toll und auch groß genug. Ein - und Auschecken waren angenehm und problemlos, es waren auch ein ess- und trinkbarer Willkommensgruß und eine Nachricht vom Housekeeping da. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter!

Traumvilla in wundervoller Lage!😍

Es ist wirklich ein sehr schöner Ort für gemütliche, angenehme Ferien. Die Villa liegt inmitten ländlicher Umgebung mit Blick auf Olivenhaine. Unterschiedliche Sitzmöglichkeiten auf dem gesamten Gelände bieten für jede Tageszeit den passenden Ort. Morgens haben wir unter Olivenbäumen gefrühstückt, mittags auf der super gemütlichen Lounge-Terrasse am Pool relaxed und abends den Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer auf der Dachterrasse genossen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet, die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen. Im kleinen Abstellraum gibt es sogar tolle Spielsachen. Louise und Corné sind wunderbare herzliche Gastgeber, die Kommunikation hat perfekt geklappt. Im Haus fanden wir zur Begrüßung sogar kleine Leckereien, Wein und Raki ☺️. Auch Paula ist eine sehr angenehme, überaus freundliche und unkomplizierte Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort. Die Lage insgesamt fanden wir perfekt, in wenigen Minuten erreicht man per Auto den Strand, aber auch Rethymno, Ziele zum Wandern oder für andere Ausflüge. Wir danken ganz herzlich, dass wir eine richtige schöne, erholsame Zeit in der Villa Athina verbringen durften und werden gern wiederkommen!

Perfektes Ferienhaus!

Es fehlte an nichts ! Sehr gut ausgestattetes und gepflegtes Haus, toller Pool. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist top. Die Lage ist ruhig und zentral, ein Auto aber notwendig. Alles in allem ein wunderschöner Urlaub . Vielen Dank!

Gute Lage und großer Pool

Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen. Man ist schnell in Rethymno und am Strand. Der Pool ist schön groß zum Schwimmen. Es gibt einige Nachbarn, es ist also nicht ganz ruhig, aber uns hat es nicht gestört. Meistens war die Lautstärke recht angenehm. Das Meer sieht man nur von der Dachterrasse, wo man abends oder früh morgens sitzen kann. Sonst ist es zu heiß. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern ist top! Wir hatten wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub in der Villa Athina.

Formidable

Nous avons passé nos vacances chez Corné et Louise la première quinzaine de juillet. La villa, le jardin et la piscine sont très agréables, très bien entretenus et très propres. La villa est très bien située sur l'île, au sein d'un petit hameau calme et paisible. En outre, sa situation nous permet d'accéder très facilement en voiture aux plages, aux lieux et sites à visiter et à toutes autres commodités. Très bonne communication avec les propriétaires. Merci à eux pour leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et leur sérieux. Nous recommandons sans hésitation cette location ! Nous sommes exigeants et pourtant nous leur mettons un très beau et tant mérité 10/10.

Fantastic holiday home, all you need

The holiday home of Corné and Louise has all you need for a fantastic holiday. It is very well equiped with a lovely garden, terraces and swimming pool, beautiful views, quiet and clean. The open plan living room and kitchen are spacious and practical and the beds are good. The shower was great. If there was anything I'd had to change it would be the black armchairs, but that's a personal thing. Overall, we had a fantastic time in your holiday home!

Très belle maison fidèle aux photos

Juillet 2021. Couple avec 2 enfants. Très belle villa bien entretenue et parfaitement propre. Nettoyage de la piscine et de la maison très régulièrement durant notre séjour par une personne charmante qui a su nous guider et nous conseiller dans nos visites. La maison est très bien équipée. On ne manque de rien. La literie est propre et en bon état. Parfait. La piscine est de belle taille. Le toit terrasse est fantastique pour voir le coucher de soleil sur la mer ! Magnifique La maison est située à quelques kilomètres de Rethymnon et de ses plages. Elle est au calme au milieu des oliviers. Parfaitement située pour visiter l’ouest de la Crète. Les propriétaires de la maison sont à l’écoute et disponibles même si ils ne sont pas sur place. Merci à vous Corné et Louise ! Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances grâce à cette adresse que nous conseillons à tous. Aucune mauvaise surprise si vous choisissez la villa Athina 👍

Een heerlijke vakantie!

De villa is van alle gemakken voorzien en perfect onderhouden, heeft een heerlijke ligging en is niet ver van veel leuke stranden en taverna's. De foto's op de site zijn echt wat je krijgt, of eerlijk gezegd, we vonden het nog mooier dan het op de site wordt weergegeven. We hebben met onze twee dochters een heerlijke vakantie gehad!

Magnifique maison pour 4, idéalement située pour découvrir la Crête

La Villa Athina est idéalement située au milieu des oliviers (très calme !) à quelques minutes de toutes les commodités, de la ville Rethymnon et de la plage. Parfaitement équipée avec sa piscine tous les jours nettoyée , le séjour de 2 semaines a été fantastique. Nous n'avons manqué de rien ! Le personnel en charge de l'entretien (irréprochable) est charmant et très disponible pour rendre service ou apporter des conseils ou de bonnes adresses. Le propriétaire a été également très attentif aux questions et a su y répondre très rapidement. Merci pour ce séjour !

Très belle location au calme.

Si vous cherchez un endroit paisible avec une piscine et une superbe vue alors sans prendre le moindre risque vous pouvez réserver cette maison où vous passerez de très belles vacances au calme.Vous serez à proximité du centre ville de Réthymnon (9 km) et de ses commerces. Le propriétaire a toujours été là pour répondre à nos interrogations sur la région et à nos besoins. Merci pour sa sympathie et sa disponibilité ! Le descriptif du logement est tout à fait conforme à la réalité. Il ne manque rien .. propreté irréprochable.. C’est une région magnifique. Nous y retournerons.

Nous avons séjourné 15 jours en août 2018 avec 2 ados de 13 ans, nous avons apprécié le confort de la villa qui est très bien équipée et décorée avec gout d'une propreté irréprochable. Il y a absolument tout dont nous avons besoin ! Nous avons trouvé à notre arrivé un panier d'accueil que nous avons apprécié. La villa se situe dans un endroit très calme avec vue sur les champs d'oliviers et la mer en second plan. Le jardin est très bien entretenu avec jasmin, bougainvillier bananier, laurier... La piscine est très agréable et de bonne taille. La villa est très bien située pour visiter la Crète. On trouve à proximité une boulangerie, des tavernes et un ldl. A recommander sans hésitation ! Les propriétaires sont très sérieux et réactifs, merci Corné et Louise.
