Everything was to our expectation, clean, well equipped and more then enough space for 2 families. Only downfall, was the chalet being very remote, a good 30 mins from amenities and the road leading to the chalet was unfinished and very bumpy. Other then that, I would definitely recommend this place.

Thank you very much for the review. This will allow future guests to evaluate us. The many rains and meltwater makes it difficult to drive on the road. We have taken up the issue with the city of Labelle. You were very pleasant guests and I am glad they enjoyed Chalet Le Beaver.
This chalet was exactly what we were looking for. Easy driving distance to Tremblant without the chaos of being in town. The layout allows for privacy as well as nice common areas. Karin was lightening-fast with her responses to my queries. Though we didn’t need to contact her during our stay, I felt very confident that someone would have responded should we have needed anything.
We had an amazing time at this beautiful log home. Not to far from Mont-Tremblant where we went skiing. Beautiful country and pretty private. No complaints other than realizing the check out time was earlier then expected so we had to rush out and there wasn’t firewood at the house. But that was ok because everything else was perfect! I would highly recommend this place for friends and family. The communication with the owner was great and accommodating.

I'm so glad you enjoyed Chalet le Beaver at Blueberry Lake.
For sustainability reasons, we provide wooden briquettes for the tenants. It had a box by the fireplace.
Check-out times are scheduled during the high season to allow enough time for the cleaning crew to thoroughly clean the chalet and for tenants to move into immaculate accommodations. During the low season we are much more flexible regarding check-out times.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
Good, but needs to be more specific.
The location is nice. Best for a smaller group of people. As the water level was low, you can't go swimming in the lake but you can kayak. Rooms were nice as well. The only things negative I have to say about this location is that downstairs smelt like cat urine. Which I discussed with the property manager at the end of the stay. The location is semi private as there is a trail that connects all the surrounding properties which goes through the location. It also says 6 bedrooms but if you look further into the description it's actually only 5 bedrooms. This is something they should fix about the listing. Overall we had a great stay though.
Nice place but water front is not great.
The photo of the dock on the listing is not the dock you get to use. The dock for this property is only accessed by walking through a swamp on 2x4s. Also this is not a lake it's shallow "mud lake" it's not suitable for swimming. If you are looking for a cottage with water that you can use and enjoy this is definitely not the place.

Thank you for taking the time to evaluate Chalet Le Beaver. Little rain and very hot weather, have lowered the level of the lake. A trip on the lake by kayak or bathing in the hot tub, among other things, is a nice activity during the stay at Chalet Le Beaver.
Great weekend away at this beautiful chalet. Private place surrounded by nature, very spacious and clean chalet. Karin was amazing to deal with. We had many questions and postponements due to the pandemic and Karin was always quick to answer and very accommodating. Would highly recommend this stay to everyone!

Thank you Brenden for your comment. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at Chalet Le Beaver. In difficult situations you need flexibility. I am happy to be there for my guests and always looking for solutions.
The owner, Karin was very responsive to our inquiries, as was Daniel the facility manager.
The house was well equipped, with great AC and Wi-Fi. We also very much appreciated having an available washer and dryer, which avoided us having to bring lots of clothes. The beds and linens were quite comfortable. It would have been more convenient to have the TV on the main level, as opposed to the basement where the pool table was situated. We had expected to have a full bag of the firewood to be available when we got there, but that was not the case...probably a good idea to bring your own wood as it is not so readily available. We also had an ant issue in the kitchen, for which we were told to purchase ant traps on our own. We were surprised at this response, considering the price we paid for the week.
While the house was quite nice, it did not have an area to throw a football, baseball, or even set up a volleyball net...this limited our outdoor activities.
We also had the terrible luck of having wild neighbours who decided it would be fun to set off fireworks in the MIDDLE of the night, play very loud music past 3:00am and run thru the woods screaming.
We made a mistake of booking a week at this location. We were under the impression we had a lake to be at, with a private dock, but it turned out that it is shared with others and when everyone brings their kayaks, it’s a disaster. The “lake” or “waterfront” property is more of a swampy pond than anything. Getting to your water access carrying the kayaks is difficult, as you need to trek through deep mud and several 2x4 wooden boards to get there. Some of our members fell, twisted ankles, lost footing, or lost their footwear in the muddy path. The picture of the dock that is NOT the dock we are allowed to use. It belongs to another owner and is private property. We were warned to not be on it and were actually escorted off of it. This picture needs to be replaced.
As for the water, you cannot swim or fish. You can’t even get into the water from the dock because it’s full of weeds, and plant life. It was not what we expected and were all quite disappointed that we would not be able to swim.
Bottom line, if you are expecting a lakeside cottage, this is not what it is. If you are looking for a peaceful deck to sit and read a book, this is for you.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your opinion about the chalet. We are glad that you felt comfortable in the accommodation.
A natural lake of this size is highly weather dependent. If it is rainy and wet, there is a lot of water immediately and if it is dry and hot, the water recedes and also the sea grass starts to grow. Sea grass means that the water is doing well, that there are enough nutrients in the water. It is very healthy for the skin. Maybe for some guests not nice to look at because people nowadays think that there must be nothing in the water, that it must be clean. We are at Lac aux Bleuets in nature, that's what most guests who book with us want. A luxury lodge in nature - not sterile accommodation.
This chalet was outstanding!!!
From the fact that it had absolutely everything to the fact we needed for NOTHING!
The grounds were immaculate , well kept, the chalet had not 1 piece of garbage or dirt anywhere! Trust me I checked! More then enough room for everyone, we were 7 and there was still 3 beds left over. The kitchen was supplied with everything we could think of!
The one thing that I would maybe warn about is that it wasn't "elderly" friendly, the bathrooms were gorgeous, but they were all equipped with soaker tubs, so deep tubs with high sides to get into. We brought our grandmother with us who has trouble lifting her legs that high, so she sponged bathed the whole weekend. But she loved the rest of the areas! So, be cautious of mobility issues. Also, if you are planning to do alot of WIFI usage, don't. It was spotty access threw out the chalet BUT we quickly got over that when we were playing games, enjoying the hot tub, going kayaking and swimming in the lake... WIFI wasn't a concern!
Absolutely 💯 percent will book again!!! We were very sad we were leaving after 2 nights so next time will book for longer!
Thank you so much to the hosts, they were very accommodating with my questions! We WILL be back!!!
