We absolutely loved staying here. The house was very clean, gorgeous, and beds were super comfortable. We were thrilled when we arrived and it was decorated for Christmas. We will return.

Our stay was very short and sweet but the house was beautiful with gorgeous Mountain View’s. The description and pictures of the home were exactly as described on website. The information book was very informative for all kinds of activities in the area. It was a wonderful experience. We will definitely consider staying here at another time for a longer visit.

The house was great! So much room and the pool table got a lot of use, as it poured with rain for a full day! We brought everything we needed, so we didn't go out much. The walk down to the lake was great exercise!!!

The property was well kept and very clean. The large back porch with seating area and table were great for family gathering and games (plus the downstairs area also). The ladies in the group suggested some full length mirrors somewhere to assist in getting dressed up. Overall an excellent visit and location.

We stayed here with family after our wedding in Jefferson, NC. It was a beautiful getaway. There was something for everyone to do, we cooked every night and enjoyed relaxing on the porch, playing on the Nintendo, playing pool and watching movies. We took a chilly tube ride down the river and had a blast.

This is our second time renting this house for the Blue Ridge Relay. It is a great house and the location is perfect because it is so close to anywhere from Grayson Highlands State Park to Blowing Rock. . Plenty of bedrooms and showers for 12. Great kitchen. Can’t recommend highly enough 👍

This was our second visit. Great property for our group of 5. Plenty of room for many more. We had a couple drop out of the trip so more space than needed.
Lovely screened in porch where we took most of our meals. Easy access to the New River and Todd.

Overall we had 12 people but plenty of room and loved our stay. Couple of minor quirks. Upstairs bathroom hot water handle didn’t work and a piece of molding was coming off the steps in the game room which made it hard for the babies to walk down.

We loved this mountain house, was as advertised:
Pro's: rooms and space for everyone. Increased parking capacity, nice quiet neighborhood, nice place to take walks, Pool table, Very Clean, good wireless.
Con's: location was a little far from our attractions, about an hour from everywhere. Couldn't find remote to downstairs TV, but wasn't a big deal for us.

Yes. That’s the most telling question of any property. This place had two great living areas in case people needed their own spaces. It also had a huge sunroom which made for a third common space to enjoy. Very important when traveling with family.. Kitchen was appointed nicely. In a perfect world I wish the bathrooms were a bit bigger, but that is a minor thing and there are three bathrooms which make morning routines much easier The location is very convenient to Boone and West Jefferson. So would we stay here again… Definitely

Stayed with 10 family members for an APP State graduation. Great house. Lots of rooms and big beds. Well equipped. Advertised 2 parking spots but really 3 or 4 fit. Neighborhood a bit of an adventure to find house until you got used to it.

A group of 7 different couples/friends some from south Florida. Cary NC and Pittsburgh PA all connected at this beautiful mountain cabin for several days of mountain fun. The concert and amazing Saloon Studios venue are what brought us together originally but the beautiful mountain cabin bonded us forever. Truly once in a lifetime experience. We can’t wait to return.

Our friends had a great time at this cabin! Very close to the New River and 20-25 minutes to West Jefferson. This cabin can accommodate a very large group and was very clean. We were able to sit on the porch and had a great view of deer grazing in the woods.
We enjoyed the propane fire pit and pool table. The only problem we had was with TV service. We attempted to watch live sports each night after our daytime activities, but the TV Service didn’t have normal channels. Other than that it was a great stay.

We loved having all of the windows in the cabin! We saw several deer during our stay. We had plenty of room to relax! The beds were very comfortable!
I was disappointed that the Lazy Susan Taco dish on the dining table was dirty upon arrival. The table in the sun room needed to be wiped off as well. Cleaning service should have checked on that. I could not find any dish towels or dish rags in the cabinets. I could not find a whisk in the kitchen drawers.. There were lots of dishes, but we could not find large bowls, except for a silver bowl under the cabinet.
The steps in the front were steep when going up and down, especially when carrying things! We really enjoyed the cabin, but the steep steps will be a deterring factor in the future, unless they could somehow fix a ramp.
