Great communications throughout and an excellent, clean and comfortable house.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a quiet area which was onky a short drive from seeing plenty of sights.
Treneved Lodge is a spacious, well-equipped and comfy cottage. We used it as a base for sight-seeing and walking. Ann and Howard were very welcoming and responsive to any messages.
The house was big enough for the two of us.
Cleanliness could have been better. In a number of places there were cobwebs. The kitchen furniture was not all to clean on arrival.
The strong agricultural smell made sitting outside somewhat less pleseant.
Treneved cottage was just perfect for our week long stay. Arrival was simple, and the cottage was just like the photos. Immaculately clean, with a welcome bottle of wine, milk in the fridge and some tea bags.
Anne has thought of everything needed for a great stay, and everything was of a high quality. Plenty of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc etc. Clear instructions for the recycling and all the appliances. We did not realise when booking that there was a second grass garden next to the parking space, this had lovely views to the coast towards Porthgain.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and should we return to the area we would definitely book Treneved again.
A lovely cottage, fully equipped to a very high standard with everything we could possibly require; in a beautiful part of Wales, and, WoW , 7 days sunshine! thank you very much.

This was the perfect get away from it all holiday. There are sea views from almost every window and the countryside / coastal walks are stunning. The property was beautiful and spotlessly clean, a real home from home with some lovely touches. The welcome bottle of wine went down very well! Owners couldn't have been more helpful. The local harbour with both a pub and fish and chip restaurant was good for meals out. The pub also does a good breakfast too if you want to fill up before a walk. A really relaxing break that I would highly recommend.
The views from Trenevid Lodge are wonderful; panoramic vistas from so many windows (as well as the garden)! I have discovered that there is nothing more perfect than opening the curtains in the morning and having Strumble Head lighthouse say 'hello' (but not in an intrusive way). The Lodge is beautifully styled and maintained, and communication with Ann and Howard was faultless. A first-class (and quiet) holiday for us - which we needed! Thank you both!
Fantastic cottage- beautifully maintained and furnished. All that you need for a fab holiday with easy access to the coast path. Bring wood if you have a cheap source for the wood burner as otherwise buying is expensive. None provided.
The property was tidy and welcoming as we walked through the door. The fire made it cosy in the evening after the days we spent walking. Easy to get onto the coastal path directly from the cottage.

Very well equipped and nice and clean
The house is well placed for the lovely Pembrokeshire coast - you can see the sea from the garden. It is in a strikingly quiet location which is great. Inside the house has everything you could want including a dishwasher and adjustable sofa! It feels clean and fresh when you arrive. There was a very nice welcoming pack which is a nice touch. The only slight challenge was the parking beside the house. We would certainly stay again in this lovely place.

very clean, lovely views, very well equipped
Treneved lodge is a lovely traditional cottage, it has everything you could possibly need. It is very near to Porthgain which has a couple of excellent places to eat. From the cottage you have lovely views across rolling countryside to the sea.

really liked this cottage. parking space was a bit tight, so we parked a few yards along the road.
Very comfortable indeed. Everything had been thought of. Wine and welsh cakes on arrival a lovely touch. Stairs were manageable, after having stayed in a cottage in Cornwall with steep dangerous stairs! Bed was comfortable and liked the individual reading lights. Would highly recommend. We would return, but we live twelve thousand miles away! Carol and Jim

Awesome cottage!
As soon as we entered the cottage we felt at home. Milk in the fridge, wine on the table! Splendid start.... The weather wasn't too kind at the start of the week, but the warmth of the cottage and it's excellent facilities made up for it. We love the area and soon immersed ourselves in the beauty of the many coastal hamlets, beaches and cliff walks, and when we were exhausted from the efforts we retired to the peaceful charm of the cottage to recharge and plan the next days forays.
A holiday to remember truly! Looking forward to the next time...
Thank you Ann and Howard.

About the host
Hosted by Ann
We moved to Pembrokeshire in 1997 having found this lovely cottage in need of TLC. After doing the renovations we decided to let the cottage as a holiday let so that others could enjoy the peace and tranquility it offers. We did renovations on out buildings that are at the rear of the cottage and made them our permanent home.
