In the heart of Jean Giono's country, between Manosque and Forcalquier, a small path in the middle of pine and olive trees will lead you to Pitesous, a family country house with a magnificent view of the village of Villeneuve, the Durance valley to the Valensole plateau and the hills of the Verdon.<br><br>With no immediate neighbours, you can enjoy its swimming pool, terrace and garden at leisure for a relaxing holiday in the middle of a still wild nature and perfumed with the scents of Provence.<br><br>All amenities are nearby, 5 minutes from the village and between 5 and 10 kilometres to the nearest shopping centers.<br><br>From the house, you can walk and drive to discover the magnificent sites of Haute-Provence: Forcalquier, Lurs, Ganagobie, Lake Esparron, the Gorges du Verdon, and enjoy the festivals 45 minutes away by car... Aix-en-Provence, La Roque d'Anthéron, the Abbey of Silvacane, the Nuits de la Citadelle in Sisteron,...<br><br><br>The house consists of a large living room (60m2) including open kitchen, living room and dining room opening wide onto the terrace, the garden and the swimming pool. A closed TV room, possibly independent, has a large sofa bed (160 x 200).<br><br>The "night" part of the house has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with toilet on each floor.<br>On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200) and a bedroom with 3 small beds (90 x 190).<br>Upstairs, a bedroom with a double bed (140 x 190) and a bedroom with 2 twin beds (90 x 190).<br><br>Finally, a secure mezzanine for children overlooks the living room, ideal for reading peacefully.<br><br>Le Pitesous is a rustic house, ideal for a quiet family holiday in the Provençal hillside lulled by the song of the cicadas.<br><br>Materials <br>Internet / Wifi <br>Fully equipped kitchen (stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, food processors..)<br><br>Concerning household linen:<br>-Possibility to bring your own household linen<br>- Provision of household linen (additional dry cleaning cost in addition to the rental)

Beautiful villa on a small hill with a panoramic view

We had relaxing holiday days in a very nice holiday home on a gentle hill, which includes a pool, a terrace with a terrific view of the neighbouring town and the mountains, and a spacious, very well equipped and comfortable interior (including a separate TV room and a private reading area). The villa is located in the center of a small forest that includes olive and pine trees. Support and service (e.g., pool cleaning) were provided by really nice and friendly people. We were completely satisfied and can highly recommend this holiday home.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus war rundum gelungen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter lief von Anfang an super: Er war nicht nur äußerst freundlich, sondern hat sich bei kleinen Problemen auch sofort um eine Lösung gekümmert.Das Haus selbst hat unseren Erwartungen vollkommen entsprochen. Die Lage ist einfach wundervoll und der Pool war bei den heißen Temperaturen ein absolutes Highlight, das wir sehr genossen haben. Zwar gibt es im Haus keine Klimaanlage, aber dank der ausreichend bereitgestellten Ventilatoren in fast jedem Zimmer ließ es sich auch im Sommer angenehm aushalten.

The views were incredible! The house is lovely and well equipped - comfortable rooms and living areas. Our only feedback is that we wished the kitchen was slightly bigger and that the pool had a cover to keep bugs out and heat in. Overall, however, an excellent stay!

Séjour pour le Trail de Haute Provence

Nous sommes partis à 7 pour le THP qui se déroulait à Forcalquier. La maison correspond parfaitement à l'annonce et le paysage est juste magnifique. Nous avons passé un super moment. Les lits sont confortables et il ya tout le matériel nécessaire, au niveau vaisselle et même des produits de 1ere nécessité. L'environnement est très calme.La maison est propre et nous avons pu utiliser la piscine. Julia, qui s'occupait de nous, était au top, toujours disponible et réactive.Je recommande fortement.Merci

Noël en provence

10 jours "comme à la maison", dans une maison spacieuse, agréable, hyper bien équipée, confortable, idéale. La région est magnifique, l'accueil par Julia très sympathique. Il nous faudra revenir en été pour profiter de la piscine et de la vue !
