We had a great stay - peaceful, quiet, beautiful scenery. The house was cute and had everything that we needed. There was a lot to do and explore. Plenty of room!
Beautiful view of the woods. House had everything we needed. It is located close to the waterpark and adventure park. Host was very easy to communicate with. The AC was broken when we arrived and she already had someone on the repair and refunded us some money.
Th Nutt House was everything we wanted for our woodland retreat! The host(ess) Julia was so personable and efficient in messaging. The house was very comfortable and well appointed. The propane firepits set the ambience for peaceful evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed the woodland setting; deer, squirells and birds were plentiful! Proximity to resort amenities, hiking, restaurants and the Shenandoah Blue Ridge Parkway were a bonus! We were very pleased and would come back for a summer fun or winter skiing.
Very relaxing stay just down from JMU. Great home base to recharge! Beds are comfy; house is clean. Plenty of towels. Main living area is soooo nice with the floor to ceiling windows.
Everything was great once again. House is very cozy. Living area with wall of windows is so nice to sit and relax. King bed is very comfy. Host is very communicative and pleasant to work with. Thanks again!
We loved the place. It is beautiful and peaceful there. We had to contact the host for a few things and she was wonderful with getting back to us quickly! She was very personable and made us feel better when we had to let her know about some damage from our fur babies.
We had a fabulous stay. It was nestled back in the woods and quiet. We cooked a few meals there and had everything we needed. The recommendations that the hostess had were insightful and delicious. Definitely would recommend!
The Nut house was as described. Comfortable bed, spacious, private, gas fire pit on deck was a plus, and great communication with owner. Perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the Shenandoah Valley.
Check in and check out was super easy. The location of the house is ideal as the backyard backs into the woods. The house is well stocked and well maintained. After a day at the vinyards or hiking it was a wonderful place to relax.
Great long weekend! Cabin was perfect for the 3 of us and our dog. Great location within Massanutten. Loved the walking path for the dog and exploring the wooded backyard down to the creek. Perfect setup for families with great hang out spaces in and out.
We had a great time at this lovely property! The location is perfect and is in close proximity to the Massanutten resort, the water park, Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns! The house is beautiful, clean, has a lovely porch with fire pit, plenty of sleeping accommodations and a kitchen that is well stocked if you chose to cook. We would highly recommend!
The photos do not do the property justice, it is just lovely. The location is amazing and it feels like you are in your own relaxing tree house, the view is incredible.
We all enjoyed our week there immensely 😀
Location and proximity to campus events was wonderful. Check-in and check-out process was easy, and host was very responsive to messages. Easily hosted a few meals at the house during the weekend as the space was much better than trying to juggle and time restaurant reservations.
