It was a beautiful property, the hot tub lid lift is broken but other than that everything is in perfect shape. I would definitely recommend this place to stay!
We loved this place. Just what we were looking. The host was fantastic even when my wife locked all the doors even the key pad entry and had to take time out of his day and go find the key and come unlock it. We will be back
My husband and I were looking for a get away and this place was perfect! Clean, cozy and out in nature. About 1h 45m from the smoky mountains and lots of other really cool things to explore in between. The host was EXCELLANT!
Did not use the hot tub. Should let guests know that they need to bring wood to use the firepit. Kitchen well stocked. Would be nice to know that Keurig only coffee maker.Overall good experience and a very nice facilty.
From the great interaction with the host, to the appointment & the location of the home, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
The quiet and hidden location is precisely what we were looking for!
This location is ~20mins from downtown Tellico Plains where you'll find friendly people, and plenty of great tasting comfort food, coffee shops, etc...
Be sure to slow down in town & strike up conversations with the locals...you'll be glad you did!
Downtown you'll find the Cherohala Skyway Visitor Center and the entrance to the winding Cherohala Skyway...
I work remotely and even with some heavy rain, the internet connection was rock solid...
This is a place we'd definitely love to visit again!
Stayed here for our 15 year anniversary. The land and the property are both beautiful. Our time there was quiet and relaxing. We got lucky with the snow, it just made the amazing scenery that much better. We relaxed in the hot tub and starred out at the snow covered mountains and the sky full of stars and the hustle and bustle of the world just melted away. Suddenly nothing else in the world mattered and we felt more present than we have in a long time. We definitely won't forget this beautiful place. We also enjoyed the community. Spending time in the neighboring towns made us feel as though we went back in time about 30 years. It didn't take long for us to see that the people in this area are some of the best and kindest in the country. The trip was planned to see the Lost sea adventure which was very nice. A must see for sure. Thank you very much for this great experience.
Such a beautiful stay we had this weekend. So quiet and comfortable with great beds and furniture. Easy to navigate to and close Scott Mansion Farms. We had a great visit.
Mark was the perfect host. The home was even better than we expected. The paved drive was beneficial since we were on our motorcycle. I enjoyed walking on the trails and picking fresh blackberries just outside the door. If we are in the area again, we will definitely choose this property again.Rob & Deanna from IA
