The cabin was very nice and the host at Creative Escapes was awesome! We actually requested a switch to a different cabin and they were super accommodating! A great weekend getaway spot!

The amenities were great. All the cabins were very close to each other and open, but otherwise was a great place and relaxing.

The hot tub was turned off when we arrived. By the time it warmed up, we were only able to use it for one of our two nights. The room smelled strongly of marijuana. When we called the company, a representative said they would call us back. That never happened. A worker sent a can of febreeze. The room was overall fairly clean, but there was a dirty styrofoam plate, bowl, and cup above the microwave. The air conditioner blew bits of gray material out of the vents. The location was convenient and easy to find. Checking into the property was easy. The concept of staying in a treehouse is fun and unique, but the property managers need to pay closer attention to detail between stays.
This place was amazing! Nestled in among the trees you feel like you are in a special retreat. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail in every aspect of the facility and the amenities.

The description online is misleading with the pictures. The bathhouse/restrooms are in a centrally located area. Going to/from restroom in the middle of the night was not fun. It also states in the check out instructions to load the dishwasher and do not leave dirty dishes in sink. There was no sink in the cabin. Our bed linens had dog hair on them and the bathroom had long hair on shower wall, which led us to believe our bathroom and cabin hadn’t been cleaned well. The property manager did offer to send the cleaning lady back out, but we passed as we were only there for two nights. The location of the property is ideal and close to town. We loved that. We did visit with several locals and even found other listings close by that had all accommodations and cheaper. We still made the best of it, but definitely read the fine print. We loved the romantic thought of a glass treehouse, but not having easy access to the bathroom/shower was definitely an inconvenience.

Everything was nice. Description is super misleading. Cabin is TINY. Nowhere to sit except bed. No kitchen and private bathroom in in the center of the property in a "Bathhouse". It tells you that in the fine print at the very very end. For 275 a night, I expected at least a connected bathroom and maybe a chair. Hot tub is a foam square with no seats or anything inside it. Again, everything was nice, just not as perceived by the description. Do your homework..it is glamping for 275 a night.
The property was beautiful and easy to locate. The location is very close to the fun of Hochatown & Beaver’s Bend. Unfortunately once I was checked in I noticed a musty smell coming from the comforter. I had to rewash it as it smelled like it sat in the washer too long. The towels provided for the hot tub were damp as the hadn’t been dried thoroughly. The hot tub and shower were both enjoyable!

Pictures on website are deceptive
All rooms are upstairs and bathrooms are not adjoining. Bath house is across property and not easily accessible at night. Do not recommend!
We stayed at “For the Birds - Treehouse Honeymoon ESCAPE near the Lake!” in Broken Bow, OK, and were incredibly disappointed with our experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the property had not been prepped at all, despite what the listing promises. We arrived a day after a snowstorm, and the driveway was completely unplowed and unmarked, making it unsafe and difficult to figure out where to drive or park near the creek. The staircase to the cabin was also not cleared of snow or ice, forcing me to clear it with my hands since no snow shovels were provided. The description claims the property is prepared prior to arrival, but that was obviously untrue. There were no footprints or tire tracks, and the hot tub, which was supposed to be heated and ready, was off when we arrived. By the time we realized this and turned it on, it was too late to use during our stay. The cleanliness of the cabin was another major issue. We found multiple stains on the comforter, sheets, and two of the four pillows. There was also a lipstick stain on one of the wine glasses. For a property marketed as “luxury,” this was unacceptable. While we understand the snowstorm may have caused some challenges, there is no excuse for the lack of cleanliness or failure to uphold basic promises like prepping the property or having the hot tub ready. We loved our time in Broken Bow, but we will not be staying at this rental again and recommend others look elsewhere for accommodations.
