This property was good location handy to town but quiet and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of space for 4 adults (as long as one can climb to top bunk)
The stay was good. The property was clean.Their were games for the children to keep them occupied. My husband didnt like the bed because it was hard.A softer bed would be an improvement.

There was a dead cockroach in the kettle and we didn't use the kettle throughout the stay and other than that the property is OK and good location.
From the moment we walked in we were so happy. There was fresh baking 😍 the heat pump was on and was so nice and warm. The photos do not do this place justice, it is so much better. The linen was beautiful, didn't need to bring blankets, pillows, towels etc it was all provided.
Was super easy to contact Ali about any little Question we had. If we come back to taupo this will be our place of choice to stay. Thankyou Ali for allowing us to stay in your place.
Great place for a family of four, we stayed for the McCartney soccer tournament and location was perfect. Nice and warm too with heat pump and everything else we needed. Thanks!
Welcoming, warm, cosy and clean batch. Home away from home with everything you need. The hosts were lovely to deal with. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a batch in Taupo, would definitely stay again.
We stayed two nights, 3 adults and our 3 year old.
We found it had everything we needed including cooking utensils and washing machine, own private outdoor area and in a quiet location. There were some great homely touches which made it feel more comfortable.
Not too far from town for anything you need or a minute to a local block of shops.
Thank you!

Slight safety issue if staying with kids
The property itself was comfortable and clean and initial dealings with Alison were good.
But I had a safety issue on the property whereby there was a hole in the ground outside, which myself and my baby granddaughter fell into. There was no lighting (this was at night), the hole was full of mud and and I had difficulty holding onto my g/daughter which led to two very upset and angry people.....
Upon approaching the owners about this issue, we received no concern or sympathy. The solution offered was a refund and... 'you can find another place to stay'. This was not a viable solution given it was 8pm at night. (They also did not respond to further communication post stay).
It was a poor start to our holiday.
A note to future bookings: if you have small children, perhaps consider looking at alternative accommodation.
What a lovely welcome- lights on, curtains pulled and heat pump on. Bach was super clean and really well equipped. A wonderful space which I recommend.
