Wonderful location. Manicured landscaping right on the lake but still has privacy. QUIET. Nice neighbor. Slept well. If you visit in warm weather the entire sitting area opens to the deck. If you come in cold weather know the primary heat is the living room wood burning stove. Plan ahead. But it is super toasty under the ample comforter. We did not use second bed. We just had coffee or tea for breakfast. No other use of the kitchen. Did not use TV. We just enjoyed the indoor outdoor feeling and the wonderful song birds. It will take you three nights to soak in all the history and eclectic decorations. A great time.

Second time staying at this wonderful lakeside home. Good shower, well equipped kitchen, really comfortable lounge, spacious patio. Big comfortable bed. Great location for accessing sights north and south. ...and if you have a chilly night then log fire is great!

Great place to base ourselves for a week in the Queenstown area. Very nice house that warmed up nicely in the morning sun. Great deck and backyard to enjoy the evenings in. Host communication was also very good!

Great place in a great location

We loved staying here. The place was well equipped, tidy and very cosy. The wood burner takes no time to warm the place up. It is very close to the lake. (through a gate) Ideal stay no matter what season it is.

Fantastic stay

This was our second stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Great location and property. Thoughfully decorated cottage had everything we needed. Just a few steps to the beautiful lake and away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown. Thanks for having us again.

Lovely, quiet location.

We loved this property! So unique and comfortable with a lovely view. We especially enjoyed the wood burner as it was a bit chilly at night. Wish we had been able to stay longer!
