Fabulous roomy bach with everything you need. Great spot, easy walk to the water, 5 minutes drive to cafe and four square. Such a great place to relax.

The place is exactly what you expect of a proper Kiwi family bach. We loved our stay and it was exactly what we wanted. Considering it was the middle of winter it was very warm and cozy. We would definitely stay again.

We were very happy with our stay. It was just as the information said a family crib. Don't expect a motel. Judging from the comments in the visitors book some did.The location was wonderful, easy to find good parking ( as there was four cars in our group)Hope to visit again one day soon

Jesforest is one of favourite places to stay, a classic kiwi bach to kick back and relax in. Pounawea is such a lovely quiet little place too, with plenty of outdoor places to explore there

A great Kiwi Batch - just what we needed for a fun weekend exploring the catlins. Bathroom noted to have quite abit of black mould (probably due to no extractor fan) and the kitchen had mouse poop in the cupboard under the sink but otherwise a very pleasant stay and happy memories were made.
