Very large house with magnificent views of the sea. Beautiful coastal walk that you get to from the house We had 13 adults and 3 children. Sound proofing in house great as were all the safety gates. Many thanks. Ps adults loved the spa

Family vacation

Heaps of space for family groups, great having 2 kitchens and 3 toilets. Some appliances needed bit of clean before we used them, but overall nice place to stay in big group

Great house and location. The weather wasn’t very nice but the view and short walk to the sea would be fantastics on sunny days. Everything we needed was available at the property - kitchen and bathroom facilities were great. The games room was very handy and well used. All in all we had a fabulous family get together to celebrate a birthday.

Fantastic house for our big family and the games room was a bonus.Fantastic location to the wild beach and caves.Something for everyone. Upstairs shower and Oven needs a good clean and the Spa was fantastic but needed a clean 🧼

Epic House in Fantastic Spot

This a great house in an amazing spot. The listing doesn't do the house justice. Such big living areas and kitchens as well as the outdoor areas including Spa and the games room was a bonus! So close to the beach too!! Would definitely recommend this house.

Was a base for 6 ex Police in their 60s who were on a golf trip playing in Wanganui. Waverley and Taranaki. Plenty of room to relax. Thanks.

Exceptional

Stunning property with room to spear. We had an awesome stay. It’s often hard to find a place with enough room that will accommodate a sports team. But this was exceptional. Well worth the drive from Whanganui. Having the spa was a definite bonus and great for recovery.

Karley is a great host and made the whole process seamless. Her house is a great place to stay for a large family or group of people. It is basically 2 houses in one; kitchen, lounge, bathrooms and bedrooms downstairs and also a big kitchen, lounge area and bedroom with ensuite upstairs. The dining table upstairs could easily seat 10 people. We spent nearly the whole time sitting in the back spa/deck area chatting and watching the ocean. Next time we will stay more than 1 night.

Ideal for groups

Three families stayed here and it was perfect for us. Spacious especially with the 2 lounges and the bunk room for the teenage boys. Great communication. Only concern was that the combination lock was difficult due to its age and that it was upside down on the lock and super windy. Once we were in we were sweet as.

Mums Memorial Weekend.

Hi my name is Rona Vaux 1 of 16 siblings we are from Waverley and we needed a place to stay when we go home as we live in Christchurch and Aussie and the rest live in Waverley this is our second time staying in Chris and Karley home and we had an awesome time back home this house is stunning and everything was there for us its a pity its just as i could go on for ages I highly recommend this house and if anything is back on in Waverley as a big family I highly recommend this house as i can say that we will also get Chris and Karley Amon"s home again it has everything there for children games for the kids walks down to the beach spa bath too so we had a very memorable time back home so thanks to Chris and Karley Amon for sharing their lovely home.

Rough landing due to snafu

The host wasn't aware we were arriving so the house was not ready for us. It wasn't cleaned, fresh sheets weren't available, and we didn't receive check-in instructions. We were not happy because we arrived at 9pm. Once the host was aware of the situation, she made every effort to remedy it, including sending cleaning staff over to provide sheets and refunding a significant amount of the cost. We appreciated those efforts and I think if things had unfolded differently, we'd have given a four star review. This house has all the basics and is right next to the beach.

Beautiful spot and VERY roomy home. Well stocked kitchen. Bedding is all sorted - you will be hard pushed to run out of blankets, linens, pillows or towels. Absolutely brilliant. We had a great time at this place.
