Urban Central Suburbs Villa (Room)

Relax in your comfortable double room featuring a queen-sized bed in a charming Ponsonby villa. Guests enjoy access to the backyard, sunny deck, and outdoor terrace surrounded by plants, as well as modern open-plan living spaces with a smart TV (Netflix, etc.). The kitchen is available for food storage and preparing light meals, and we have two outdoor BBQs for alfresco dining on sunny days.

For added comfort, the property has central heating and air conditioning.

Start your day with a light complimentary breakfast of tea/coffee, juice, cereals, and yoghurt. We can also provide meals by prior arrangement—just let us know in advance.

If you’re heading to the beach, we’re happy to offer a beach pack with towels, chairs, and more. The beautiful Herne Bay beaches are only a short stroll away, perfect for a relaxing day by the water.

The bathroom, shared with us, is modern and well-maintained. The property itself is shared, but we’re friendly and flexible hosts who are happy to interact as much or as little as you prefer.

Ponsonby and Herne Bay, known for boutique shopping, cafés, bars, and restaurants, are just a short stroll away. We’re on a quiet street with city and suburban views, yet close to Auckland CBD (5 min drive/30 min walk).

Public transport is conveniently located just a minute’s walk away, and there’s a supermarket only a block from the property. On-street parking is free and doesn’t require permits.

We share our home with three friendly cats - two Burmese and a Mandalay - who might keep you company or lounge in their favourite sunny spots.
