Thank you for a wonderful stay. The place was spotless, private and beautifully self contained, which made it easy to feel at home. Having laundry facilities was a huge bonus for us, and the level of privacy and independence made it perfect. Would definitely recommend!

Outstanding location with spectacular views

A lovely house just outside Havelock with amazing views and everything you would need. Great location for the town and access to Te Mata Park. Highly recommend

Amazing views from this location - close to Havlock.

Overall great. Easy booking process, easy communication with property owners. A real escape and with views to everywhere. Really enjoyed it all.

Perfect spot

Fantastic location -.we booked for a family wedding at Black Barn River Room - really close to there and Havelock town. Place beautiful and comfortable- everything we needed. Step driveway but flat access at property. Hosts great to deal with. Easy to get taxis from Havelock. Highly recommend

What a view

This house was brilliant. I knew from the photos it would be special but sitting in the lounge room looking over the valley was very relaxing. Close to Havelock North and some great wineries. We are just hoping we can come back one day. There were 6 of us ( 2 kids, two relatively young adults and two oldies-I know my mum and dad won't be reading this ;-)) and there was plenty of room.

Perfect short stay

Hi, I loved the views and the private location. We arrived on a very hot day late afternoon, and the house was like an oven. Maybe the blinds could be drawn on the day guests arrive in hot weather, , as it took hours for the air conditioning to be effective, so we had a very restless night. Fans in the bedrooms would also help. P.S. do you know who painted the art work on the wall in the dinning area , as our 89 year old took a great fancy to it and its her 90th in September, so thought I would ask in case we can get one for her. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will return. Many thanks Jo Mann

Our experience was extremely disappointing.A protruding metal fitting on a wooden chest in the accommodation caught and tore my daughter's ball dress just before a major event. We provided photos of both the damaged dress and the exposed fitting, yet the hosts refused to accept any responsibility and dismissed our concerns.It's unfortunate, because the location is lovely, but the lack of accountability and customer service left a very negative impression.Would not recommend or stay here again.

We understood you had spent $400 on a 17year old’s dress but the location of the chest in a corner by a full length window where it could not be walked past or walked beside did not marry with your explanation of how the damage was incurred. As advised, after consideration we felt your request for reimbursement of the $400 was unjustified. Regards.
