About this property

Comfortable 4 Bedroom house at Ohope Beach.

This is a superb 4 bedroom house for a beach holiday. Situated directly across Ocean Road from the beach, you have an uninterrupted view of the ocean, out to Whakaari / White Island and the East Cape and can enjoy stunning sunsets and sunrises.

It is a simple stroll across the quiet road and through the dunes to get to one of the best beaches in NZ. Perfect for families with a gently slopping, 11km long beach.

The house was refurbished in 2010 and furnished and equipped as new. All is in immaculate condition. Comfortably sleeps 9 with various sleeping options. Ideal for 2 families to share.

The kitchen / dining area / main living area are situated on the upper level and have a stunning view out to the beach. The kitchen is very well equipped with cutlery / dinnerware / glassware / cooking utensils and a wide variety of cooking basics which guests are welcome to use.

A balcony on either side of the lounge allows you to sit out of any breeze and a bricked courtyard at the back of the house is ideal for alfresco dining with a BBQ available.

There are two bedrooms upstairs - the master bedroom with a King double bed and the other with a Queen double - and two bedrooms downstairs - one with two king single beds and one with a queen sized double bed and a single bed

There is a TV lounge downstairs with large flat screen TV and a small kitchenette.

Boogie boards, wet suits and 2 Kayaks are available for the beach. A pool table and table tennis table are situated in the garage for the rare wet day!

The large backyard is a ideal for family games and is completely fenced in so the kids can't escape!

Cleaning, linen and towels are all included.

Hearty Family Fun

We enjoyed an extended family reunion at this beautiful beachfront holiday home. It contains everything you could want or need from an extensively euipped kitchen to wetsuits and boogie boards. We all had lots of fun with the table tennis and pool tables. The beach and views can keep you entertained all day, and we highly recommend Ohope Beach. Thanks so much to our gracious hosts.

Awesome house for family groups

We were a large group and really appreciated having a range of sleeping arrangements e.g. rooms with single beds for those who were not couples. We loved the outdoor area, the location, use of pool table and kayaks etc. We had a fantastic time and are keen to return in the future.

Fantastic family house

This house was perfect for a family holiday. There was plenty of space for 7 adults and 3 children with a fabulous location directly across the road from the beach.Close to shops and cafes. A pool table and table tennis table kept 2 10/12 year old boys occupied when the weather wasn't quite so nice. A room full of books, and a separate TV room kept the adults entertained. The beach is perfect for long walks and swimming. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Would highly recommend this property.
