Great Getaway Destination

Even on a rainy weekend, this incredible property provided the perfect getaway destination. The views made us feel like we were on a luxurious holiday, the number of rooms and various spaces to hang out were perfect for our family. Affordable, comfortable and easy - would recommend this property to anyone looking for a lovely long weekend.

Lovely spot

Clean and tidy property with lovely view from upstairs lounge and indoor patio. Great outdoor BBQ area and great provision of bits and pieces. Duvets were provided, so only had to take sheets/pillow cases, hand towels and teatowels. Thank you.

Great view in quiet Omori

The veiw was amazing in this quiet, off the main track, large family home. The home is 'gently worn', very spacious and comfortable. Perfect for a muti couple of family. We were 2 but wanted the very quiet setting and therefore was perfect for us. You must have a car here. Host were extremely responsive and accommodating.

Great location and space - misleading description

Lovely property with stunning views and a great space. However, the rooms and layout aren't quite as described. One bedroom is in fact the "second lounge" and therefore you need to walk through it to get to the 4th bedroom (there is no second lounge). The downstairs bathroom is also off this "bedroom" so you need to be comfortable with walking into the other bedroom to get to the bathroom. The booking also described the bed layouts wrong so we had linen for two rooms with twin singles but only one room had single beds the other 3 rooms were queens. Additionally, the hot water wasn't on when we arrived so our first showers were cold (the instruction book details how to turn it on but not the check-in message). The other problem was that the "boat parking" described was taken up by the owners boat that had been left there. Overall still a great place to stay but felt let down that a few things in the description were unnecessarily misleading.

A bit dated, comfortable, but Bookabach failed us!

We made the rookie mistake of forgetting to take linen. Tried to log in through the app and web to message - to get help/advice - and it kept returning an error. Called the number listed for the property manager and it came up "disconnected number". So we were in Turangi, after 5pm, no shops open, no sheets. I had to buy sheets secondhand via a stranger off Marketplace who was also kind enough to let us borrow some extra sheets. Was then frustrated to find that some of the singles are actually king singles so the single sheets didn't fit (2 large beds are queens for future reference!). Very stressful, but thankfully only one night. A stunning view, a comfortable place, well appointed, but notably colder downstairs and tainted by the poor Bookabach support.
