🚗 Getting Here
This is a true mountain cabin experience. Like most Smoky Mountain rentals, the driveway and roads have an incline. Most cars can access the property year-round (we’ve driven 2WD sedans with no issues). In winter months, we recommend 4WD/AWD for peace of mind. If you prefer flat, downtown access, a hotel may suit better—but if you want privacy, nature, and space, Lazy Bear is ideal.
⚠️ Notes for Guests
Hot Tub: Maintained regularly, but rare breakdowns can occur. Please note refunds/negative reviews cannot be based on this.
Trash: Please bag securely before placing in outdoor bins (wildlife safety).
Photos with roses, petals, wine, or food are for staging only – bring your own if you’d like that experience.

Property was just as described and beautiful .We decided to take the family on vacation this year instead of gifts.Made alot of memories with them and grandson. He definitely loved the games and didn't want to go back home.We would definitely stay here again
This is a great property and so well stocked with all we needed for our stay. I was very impressed and would highly recommend this for any future stays.
pictures dont do it justice! beautiful property, amenities were excellent! kept mt 6 year old grandson busy. I strongly recommend staying in this cabin
The cabin was fantastic! We had an amazing time not only at the cabin but exploring Tennessee. It was out first time in Tennessee and we will definitely be going back. Such a beautiful cabin and everything you need.
Great house to stay in for larger family. Beautiful location, fairly close to town, and all the items you may need for your stay. This house is so well stocked with all supplies you may need for your stay.
Would highly recommend this house for anyone staying in Pigeon Forge.
This was the perfect spot for us ..short drive to town but isolated enough to feel like you are in your own backyard. The cabin was beautiful, up to date with everything! We enjoyed our stay..the only small thing was the top for the ping pong table needs to be replaced but we played anyway! Overall a 10!
House was great - pictures don't necessarily do it justice. Group was so excited to see a bear walk right by the back patio. Our own Lazy Bear pictures are exciting all of our friends. (Thankfully we were inside the house at the time.) Had a great weekend with friends where everyone was comfortable.
The beautiful cabin was everything as advertised plus more. While unloading our cars, we had a glimpse of a small bear checking us out from the lope above. He was hoping we would leave the cars unattended so he could check out the vehicles for food. It was an exciting and wonderful trip. Our party included four ladies and we enjoyed the hot tub, games at night, and, of course, all of the wonderful entertainment and eateries at Pigeon Forge. We arrived after dark due to heavy traffic and construction on I 40. I had a little trouble with the entry pad, so I called Michael. He answered right away and walked me through the whole process. He even checked in on us during the week to make sure all was well. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone, wanting to enjoy the smoky mountains and pigeon Forge. It is spacious, clean, and a great location!
