Our beautiful white cedar cabin is perched over the rolling hills of Townsend, Tennessee, offering an unmatched view of the Smoky Mountains. This Smoky Mountain getaway is perfect for sharing with friends and family alike for a wonderful, relaxing time away from the daily grind. The view from the deck is unmatched.

With proximity to the unique shopping and attractions offered in historic Gatlinburg (just 24 miles), as well as the big-city allure of Knoxville (just 30 miles), this is truly the perfect location to experience the best of it all. If your goal is to get away from all the hustle and bustle, without straying too far from modern comforts, our cozy cabin is absolutely ideal. Scenic Cades Cove with babbling brooks and teeming with wildlife - you may see bears!! is less than 3 miles away. Wedding venues such as The Barn are less than 4 miles away. Pigeon Forge a mere 20 minute drive away for plenty of entertainment options for adults and families alike.
* Pet Friendly: With advance permission.
* Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations): Rear entrance ramp and main level master suite suitable for person with wheelchair or walker. Both levels are accessible from the ground with walk out basement and walkway from parking to kitchen door. Elevated toilet seat available and grab bars in master bath.
* Kid Friendly: Inquire for minimum age/supervisory requirements. Large front yard to play safely and watch the cows. Perfect hill for sledding when we are blessed with snow. Safety gates at both ends of interior stairs. High chair in dining room and pack n play with extra HickaPop mattress for comfort.
* Exterior video surveillance in use with 3 ring cameras positioned to focus solely on common exterior areas intended for guest protection.
* Smoking Not Allowed: No smoking allowed inside the residence. $300 penalty and forfeiture of deposit for violations.

We loved this house! It was perfect for a family get away - clean, spacious with an amazing view. It has one of the best kitchens, with a good variety of utensils and kitchenware, with sharp knives also! We definitely hope to stay again

Very happy with our stay. This was one of the cleanest vrbo’s I’ve ever stayed in. The home is better than the pictures. They do have a lot of decor/tchotchkes throughout that reduces surface area for the things you’ve brought. Not the end of the world. Excellent location for everything in Townsend.

I cannot overstate how absolutely wonderful this property was for our family vacation! The location is perfect, convenient to the Townsend, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas in every direction. The home is very roomy and has everything you need. The basement was our favorite area to hang out at. The views are amazing!The home is close to Pigeon Forge, Cades Cove, and Gatlinburg.Definitely coming back as there is so much too do and see and not enough time.

Our family has stayed here for 10 years, and we have rented it in advance for 2027. There’s plenty of room for our daughters and grandchildren, games to play, the kitchen is large and well-stocked, and it’s convenient without being in the middle of crowds. The views are lovely, the house is clean, and any tiny issue is handled quickly by the caretaker next door. Cousins are jealous we have monopolized this cabin every year during our family reunion week. Love it!

The cabin was awesome but the host is the absolute best!!We had everything we needed to cook our meals and the kitchen had so much room. All the decor is beautiful…but my fave was all the quilts. We loved watching the sunrise every morning. It is such a beautiful place! We will definitely rent this cabin again!!!

The house was really great for our family of 6 adults. There were only a couple of minor issues. The bathtub in the master bath did not drain well. The sheets on our bed might be ready to be retired b/c the elastic did not keep the fitted sheet on the bed. But really, overall, it was a great stay!

What makes this property unique

The view from the deck is unsurpassed in the area and the deck is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Having lived in Florida so long, we really enjoy that we can enjoy all 4 seasons at the cabin. Townsend is on the "quiet side" of the mountain yet close enough to Knoxville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge to enjoy the "touristy" stuff and then come back to the cabin for relaxation and family time.
