The Treetop house was even better in person than in the photos. Everything was top quality. It was such a cozy and well-designed space. The location is great although some people may find the walk back from town steep, it really is a short part of the walk and the view from the porch is lovely.

Perfect piece of the Coromandel Peninsula, beautiful house and close to amenities. Great location overlooking the gorgeous town of Hahei and the beach!Also loved being greeted by the four legged furry friend (cat).Sad to leave this one!Thankyou for letting us stay :)

A compact, well-appointed and very comfortable cottage nestled in the trees above Hahei, exactly as expected. What was surprising, was that the view over Hahei's rooftops to the water was even more spectacular than anticipated from the photos.The cottage was extremely cosy and had everything needed to make the most of our two-night stay. It's just a shame we couldn't stay longer, as I would have liked to. I would be very happy to return again in future and enjoy more of what the Hahei Tree Top Retreat, and the surrounding area, has to offer!

This is a wonderful place to spend a few days. Best if you have a car, but easy to walk into the little town. Just a bit of a steep road to walk back. Perfect house, perfect views! Highly recommend

We had an amazing stay here! It was the perfect place for our visit to Hahei, and had everything you could need for a short or longer stay. It was walking distance to everything in town and was along the path to the Cathedral Cove hike and very close to an excellent brewery. The views were incredible and the host was lovely, and her cat was so sweet. We’d love to stay here again if we’re ever back in Hahei.
