Gorgeous wee spot on the edge of town - had to chase the host for entry details on day of arrival, but overall excellently thought out, even a spade conveniently located for hot water beach digging!

Great place, clean, warm and bigger than it looks in the photos. We had arrived much later than expected but was still warmly welcomed by the host shortly after our arrival. Convenient place to stay as we travelled from the far north to attend a funeral the next day at Rākaunui Marae.

We arrived on time and although they were still ckeaning our room it was completely fine. They were very apologetic but it gave us a chance to get in some sight seeing. It is such a beautiful home and so peaceful. We totally enjoyed our time there and will definitely look at staying again should we return for a second trip to Kawhia. Thank you to you and your beautiful wife for allowing us to stay.
