Ocean-front beach house

Nestled right on the dunes at Waitarere, this fantastic house offers beautiful views and direct access to the beach—perfect for long walks, sunset strolls, and unwinding.

In summer, make the most of the large section with plenty of great spots to relax—including a covered outdoor dining area. In winter, enjoy the warmth of the cosy woodburner.

The bach is well set up for everyone, with books, games, and magazines for adults, plus toys, swings, and a treehouse to keep the kids entertained.

Sleeping up to six adults, it includes three bedrooms in the main house and a separate sleepout with two bedrooms and its own bathroom, offering a little extra space and privacy.

Great for couples, families, or a weekend away with friends. We’re also dog-friendly—bring your dog along (just keep them off the furniture). The back section is fully fenced for peace of mind.

There's lots to see and do on the Kapiti coast and Horowhenua: food venues, some wonderful little shops, and outdoor adventures and sightseeing. In Waitarere itself we have a fantastic 4Square that does coffee and pastries and has a great range of groceries.

You'll love the view, the sunsets and the walks on the beach. Come and enjoy.

We really loved the handy proximity to the beach and shop, had some great walks. The Bach is well set up for a dog and children, our dog loved it and so did the grandkids when they visited. Nice spacious kitchen and lounge. Lots of character with the outdoor covered area. Host communication was great. We felt very much at home.

gorgeous ocean views and positioned for incredible privacy. At times it felt like we were the only house on the whole beach, amazing! The house is really close to the shop and dining and very safe. We had a great time, even on cloudy days it's sheltered and lovely. And the woodburner heats the whole property really quickly. Gen was an absolute gift for us, responding quickly to all communications and anticipating our every need. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic spot on the edge of the dunes of Waitarere Beach. Direct beach access and only a short stroll to the flagged swimming area. Great assortment of playground spaces and my wife loved the hammock.
