We loved every minute of our stay. We felt right at home. Location was awesome. Walking distance to the dairy and the beach. Short driving distance to town. Approachable and friendly hosts. Would highly recommend this host and their lovely home.

Xmas Break

My daughter and her family stayed over New Year and found plenty to keep the children busy in all weathers and my son in law also got to enjoy the Black Caps as a bonus. Very responsive host.

Tv not working. Light bulbs blown. House smells of a pet. Dirty Long haired carpet in the lounge and room. Frail carpet. Smelly office. Only 1 bathroom. Not suitable for 6 people. Very uncomfortable fold up bed for 6th person. Only 1 3 seater in the lounge and a very old single chair that looked out of place. Not sure if the bean bag in the lounge was meant to be used by us or if it was the bed for a pet - discovered this after we sat on it. Definitely not worth the money we spent for 3 nights. Feels ripped off.

Sorry you weren’t happy with your stay. The TV definitely works and we would have been happy to clarify the instructions if needed. I did advise in our pre-booking discussions about the sleeping arrangements and if you were sure your group could fit comfortably as we usually rent to families with young children. The bathroom is also clear on the listing. The photos also clearly indicate it is an old house. Once again - sorry that the booking was not what you expected.

Great Location

Great Location and we enjoyed the deck area, the bedrooms are arranged as two children's rooms and 1 x adult room with beds to accommodate. One of the bedrooms does get quite warm in summer. Some of our group couldn't travel due to covid and unfortunately booking dates were not able to be changed but we will keep that in mind to check the policy for future Bookabach bookings.
