About this property

Family-friendly holiday home in the most beautiful hiking area!

Our small Einödhof is located in what is probably the most beautiful valley in the Bavarian Forest, hidden on a mountain slope in the forest and only accessible via a forest path. Our visitors enjoy the tranquility and naturalness of the place and the cosiness of their holiday home. The massive log house offers a bathroom on the ground floor and a very large room with an open kitchen, dining area and living area. The cozy atmosphere is created by the central fireplace, the firewood is of course free of charge. The bedroom is located on the upper floor, accessible via a steep staircase in the house or via a sweeping outside staircase. In front of the log cabin there is a sheltered seating area with a sandpit and campfire area. There is a small mountain pond a few meters away. Bathing is allowed, but the water is freezing. Our hardworking chickens can, if desired, provide you with fresh, ecologically sound eggs. Pets are welcome but must be registered

If you arrive by train, we will be happy to pick you up from the train station and take you there again. You can go on holiday with us even without a car, but only if you like hiking.

Bed linen and towels can be borrowed if required. 5 euros per set of bed linen and 2.50 euros per set of towels. Additional sleeping arrangements can be provided on request.

Visiting Nature

Very quiet stay with lots of hiking opportunities. The Cabin was perfect, neat, clean and big enough for us and a dog. The owners were very nice but also let's us be. We had a very pleasant stay.

Perfect Stay in Bavarian Forest!

The stay at the house was amazing. A very beautiful view with lovely horses. Inside the house, there is everything you need to have a relaxing vacation in the middle of the forest. The fireplace is just super and adds a very cozy and natural aspect to the stay.The hosts are amazing. We arrived by train and they picked us up from the station which was super helpful! Overall, we highly recommend this place!

Cosy Bavarian cabin

The cabin was very cosy with a fabulous stove. Tv, netflix, kitchen, shower, living room with hammock. The cabin was located right in the forest and we followed routes 6 and 7 up the mountain. Teens enjoyed snowboarding. Our host was available as needed. The area was very quiet, rural and scenic.

Das Holzhaus ist wunderbar gemütlich und unser Highlight war der Kamin, dank dem es herrlich warm wurde. Nora und Karsten waren sehr freundlich und haben auch immer wieder Holz für den Kamin gebracht. Die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet, mit allem, was man braucht. Das Haus ist es sehr geräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Sofas laden zum faulenzen ein und es gab auch eine Spielesammlung sowie Bücher, - langweilig wird einem also wirklich nicht! Durch die ruhige Umgebung konnten wir ein Wochenende lang wirklich abschalten und uns erholen. Draußen haben wir noch zwei sehr verspielte und kuschlige Kitten getroffen (mein zweites Highlight!). Wir wollen uns bedingt nochmal wiederkommen irgendwann! :)

wunderschöne Ferienhütte mitten im Wald

Wir hatten vier wunderbare Tage bei Familie Nasdal. Die Ferienhütte war toll als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Entdeckungen im bayerischen Wald und so idyllisch gelegen! Wir haben auch von der Option, die Saune zusätzlich zu nutzen, Gebrauch gemacht und können das nur sehr empfehlen. Die Familie war sehr nett und die Tiere alle sehr zugänglich. Wir können den Aufenthalt nur empfehlen.

Die perfekte Ruheoase für ganz viel Erholung

Die Lage des Ferienhauses ist einmalig! Wir waren einfach begeistert. Man hört nix außer Vogelgezwitscher, das Rauschen der Bäume und ab und an mal das Wiehren der Pferde. Es war perfekt zum Abschalten und Erholen. Die Vermieter waren super nett und alles war sauber und ordentlich. Das Ferienhaus ist optimal für alle Ruhesuchenden, denn bis auf die Natur hat man keine Nachbarn. Die Umgebung eignet sich hervorragend für Wanderungen und hundefreundlich ist es auch. Direkt vom Haus aus gehen tolle Waldwege in die Berge. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mal!

Sehr schöner Ruheort

Der Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft war für uns eine schöne Erholung vom Alltagsstress. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und die Kommunikation lief sehr unproblematisch. Die Sauna und der Holzofen sorgen für sehr viel Gemütlichkeit, wir haben während des Aufenthalts nichts vermisst.

In den Ofen gucken und wandern

Alles war liebe- und geschmackvoll arrangiert. Sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Ein bisschen Heidi Schlafkammer, ein bisschen Survival, wenn keiner der Heizlüfter Zuhilfe genommen wird und so viel Gemütlichkeit. Danke für dieses Refugium. Liebe Grüße

Einfach und dadurch wunderbar

Anfänglich war es sehr kalt, die etwas alten Dielen und die sehr steile Stiege waren etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.Aber als der schöne Ofen dann für ausreichend Wärme sorgte, war es genau das, was die wunderbare Entspannung ausmachte.

Männerurlaub

Wir, Vater und Sohn, haben hier entspannte Tage verbracht. Vermieterfamilie sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Feuerholz wurde täglich aufgefüllt. Haus hat alles was man braucht. Sehr sauber und sehr schöner Ofen. Haus liegt abseits im Wald und sehr ruhig.
