We're so glad the property lived up to what was advertised. Having a full kitchen and laundry on site makes a big difference for convenience, and it's great to hear the location worked well for getting to activities too. We appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback.

From the owner: "We're sorry to hear about the condition of the towels and toilet, and we're addressing this with our cleaning team to ensure it doesn’t happen again. We were made aware of an issue with one of the mini split units and resolved it the next day. However, we were not informed of any other concerns during your visit. We encourage you to reach out so we can discuss your experience further and work toward a resolution. Thank you for letting us know about your visit."

I want to preface this by stating I rarely leave less than positive reviews but this particular home is not for everyone. The place was quite old and a bit dated on the outside. Parking was limited. The covered parking area constantly flooded and was a bit of a mud pit. We stayed for an extended period of time (50 days) and in that time the yard was several inches under water several times. If we didn’t have large 4x4 trucks we would not have made it in and out. The AC was an issue with the mini splits not working properly or freezing up. The main bedroom was either 59 degrees or 80. There was no controlling it. Contacted the host regarding these issues and the property is managed by Evolve who wasn’t very helpful. The house has a noticeable lean to it which affects the doors closing properly and the causes the beds to lean quite a bit. Overall it was functional for a group of guys that travel for a living and are used to dealing with some less than ideal situations. However for a family vacation I don’t think I’d recommend it.

We appreciate you taking the time to share such detailed feedback after your extended stay and are glad the home was functional for your group. We understand the concerns about temperature control, parking conditions, and the home’s settling, including its effect on the doors and beds. Each mini-split has its own controller by the window, with remotes provided for all three units to help manage temperatures room by room. The parking-area flooding occurred during unusually high water levels early in the stay, and work has since been completed to level and improve that area. Doors and locks affected by settling have also been replaced. We appreciate the candid feedback and will continue working to improve the comfort and condition of the home for future guests.
