The Waterfront Retreat, one of East Gippsland's best-kept secrets, offers a tranquil escape on 20 acres of natural bushland along the banks of Lake Victoria. With 17 self-contained lodges ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, guests can enjoy lake or bushland views while catering for themselves in fully equipped kitchens. Just 15 minutes from Paynesville and 20 minutes from Bairnsdale, this peaceful haven is perfect for nature lovers, complete with a resident mob of friendly kangaroos.

Two secluded lodges are available, each with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleep up to four guests. Each lodge features a queen master suite, a twin bedroom, a separate toilet, and a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, and cookware for convenient self-catering.

Dargo Lodge, nestled in a secluded area with private lake access, offers stunning lake views from the spacious living room or private deck. Enjoy a BBQ on the deck while spotting native wildlife, or get active with free bikes, kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding on the lake.
