Lovely place

It was a lovely house that matched the photos. The location was great to explore the area and use as a base for a culinary adventure.As we were there in winter only having the fireplace for heating meant the mornings were a little chilly as we normally headed out within the hour of waking up and it wasn't worth lighting a fire.

So nice, we barely left the pool!

We loved our stay so much, we were visiting family who have just had a newborn so we didn't want to get out and about, we just wanted a place that was fun and easy and this was it... The pool was divine and we felt right at home in the house. We brought two dogs with us and they loved it, we would love to come back!

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Our two-week stay was highly disappointing. The online listing photos were misleading and did not reflect the rundown state of the property.Cleanliness ConcernsKitchen: Pans and cutlery had food residue from previous guests. Spare tea towels were heavily stained and unwashed. The fridge water filter replacement light was on, who know how long for.Mould: Present on the shower curtain and veranda cushions. The cane furniture was too deteriorated to use.Pet Residue: Visible pet hair oil stains were left on the front bedroom walls.Broken Appliances & Maintenance Coffee Machine: We were excited to see a professional-looking coffee machine, so we bought beans, but the grinder was broken.Fixtures: Curtains lacked hooks or were missing one side, causing the rod to fall when opened. The paper lampshade was falling apart.Yard & Laundry: The lawn was long on arrival and became overgrown, leaving our shoes soaked from morning and evening dew. The clothesline was broken, missing line and sagged into the plants.Pool: Covered with rotting leaves visible on the floor, unlike advertised.Safety & Access IssuesParking: No on-site parking. We had to park around the corner on a pitch-black street.Tripping Hazard: The small step (50mm) into the bathroom has no reflective tape, making it dangerous at night.Verdict: This property requires urgent maintenance and a deep clean. We cannot recommend it at the advertised price
