Perfect little cabin for our fishing weekend.Fireplace was a huge bonus.I’d say it’s big enough for 4 guys that get along well, but for my bud it myself it was great.Everything worked great and we were only 20 min from the access.Added bonus of the steakhouse 5 min away, just make sure to make a reservation, it’s small.We will be back next year!

Gull lake

A nice cozy spot for 4 guys ice fishing, close to the Sherwood store and multiple lake Winnipeg accesses, great entry way to hold all our gear and 4 nice bedrooms, all the amenities, great spot will be back

September 21st-25th,2026 Our Wedding Anniversary! . This property owner Eric was very responsive and helpful that’s about it, This property is very very dated and in absolute extreme need of repairs and maintenance and upgrades and updating in most areas of property inside and outside. The living room furniture is old and stinks really really bad and cigarette burns all over it . We brought in a couple patio chairs to sit on during our stay instead the couch. There was many spider webs in the house and dust balls on the floor.it was very obvious this place has not had a thorough cleaning in a very long time, including the windows and screens which were super dirty and obviously not cleaned in ages. The fireplace inside the house still had soot and old burnt wood stacked in it from whenever? The fenced yard was unusable with super long grass ie; 8”-10”long, and wild mushrooms growing everywhere, we decided it was necessary for us to go with our dog outside when needed, as we were unsure what might be in the backyard deep in the grass , it should not matter what time of year a customer rents the property, these items need to addressed each and every time a property is rented. Hence the 11 AM check out I believe, so the property can be prepared for each and every next rental customers! Only positive the bedding was clean I think! My opinion not worth the money we spent on this property . Expectations and pictures can be very deceptively deceiving Will look

Hi Darcy! I wish you would have brought this up during your stay so it could have been addressed. Our conversations mentioned none of this as we could have addressed it during your stay and it seemed like everything was going well. Many of our reviews love the big comfy couch and wood stove. Also there are two burn marks from embers from the wood stove, not cigarettes as we don’t allow smoking in our cabin. I apologize that you didn’t enjoy your stay but I wish this was brought up in our many conversations. We will be sure to address these issues.
