We had a wonderful stay at this laneway house! The property was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Our host was fantastic—very responsive, friendly, and great with communication throughout our stay.The location was very convenient for getting around Vancouver, although having a car is definitely recommended. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we would happily return!

We stayed here one night before getting on a cruise. This place is tiny, but has most everything you need. The beds were comfy enough after a long travel day. The kitchen had the dishes we needed. There were laundry machines available, though we did not use them. It was VERY clean, the area is quiet, we were always able to find parking (although you'd better have great parallel parking skills!), and there were all the shops we needed nearby (driving distance).There's a few quirks that were annoying about this place - the bedroom is so small that the door ran into the bed and wouldn't close, so we had to push the bed way over to the window. The fridge has no handles and is tightly set into an alcove so you have to open the fridge from the top, and then keep the fridge open to be able to open the freezer. The bar stools are too high for the counter and awkward to sit there for eating. The kitchen and bathroom windows look directly into the host's house so we kept those blinds closed all the time. None of those were deal breakers, but they were notable.

We did a long road trip to the lower mainland, this was our most expensive stay and our least favorite. The listing says entire home, when it it just a small second dwelling in the owner's backyard. The host was quite rude upon arrival, speaking in a different language in front of us becauseshe thought there was a date mixup. They eventually let us in and then we didn't see them for the rest of our stay. Upon entry, the house seemed fairly clean but the house was full of long dark hair on the floor and dust bunnies. There was also no way to darken the room. Other than that, it was ok.
