Come stay with us at our family cottage on Ahmic Lake, where we invite you to experience the rustic charm and modern comforts of our cozy abode. Originally built in 1969, our cottage is nestled on a private road amidst other picturesque cottages. There are plenty of nearby activities within walking distance, and even more to explore in downtown Magnetawan. Plus, we're conveniently located just outside of Ahmic Lake Resort. Furry friends are welcome too!

The property is even better than the pictures show. It is on a cottage lane, but during our stay most of the cottages were empty. So it was very peaceful. The cottage was well equipped for everything we needed.We loved the new deck, dock, and floating dock. Swimming was great. We brought our kayaks and explored the surrouding areas.

This location on Lake Ahmic is so quiet, clean and lovely! Our beds were very comfortable, which we appreciated greatly. We enjoyed the gorgeous new dock which has comfortable built-in benches where the 4 of us relaxed and enjoyed the view. The weather was perfect all week, allowing us to have our meals on the deck overlooking the lake. People with young children or anyone with balance or mobility issues should be advised the ground between the cottage and the lake is quite uneven and rocky. The shoreline is all rock, no beach section. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Our hosts so helpful and made us feel very welcome. Thank you!

Fabulous views from this simple, rustic cottage. Enjoyed sitting on the dock with built-in benches perched over the lake. Perfect place for a glass of wine at the end of the day. Hosts, Jesse and Emily, were very responsive to our questions and needs. Minor-issue with the toilet was addressed and fixed before we departed. Please be aware that guests must bring their own bed sheets/pillowcases, blankets, bath towels and beach towels. Additionally, there is no “potable” water on the property, meaning that you CANNOT drink any water from the taps in the sinks in the kitchen or bathroom. Fortunately, jugs of drinking water can be purchased nearby. There is a large water cooler unit in the kitchen that still had water left over that met our needs during our stay. Good place for those who are seeking a basic accommodation that is also dog-friendly.
