I love to stay at this quiet, very clean spot with lots of nice details (dimming lights, nice hardware on doors, faucets, fully functional kitchen, good internet, comfortable bed and nice and cool in the hot summer!). I come here (with my dog for company) once a year to get caught up on computer work, journaling, and decluttering my phone and computer. Since it's a lot of sitting we do a daily hike at Tyler State Park. It is perfect for my needs, but so close to Tyler so that might be helpful as well.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review and for making this your annual retreat spot. We love that the White Ember sets the scene for productive work and reflection time. Comments like this mean a lot to us and confirm we're creating the kind of peaceful, comfortable space guests can truly settle into. You and Scout are always welcome here!

The property was amazing, BUT, the owners were even better! They were extremely cordial and accommodating when we arrived in the middle of storm! We couldn't have asked for any better!

Quite getaway, well appointed, clean. Host was responsive to our questions. We forgot a set of car keys and they were kind enough to mail them.

Nice little place

Clean, pretty and close to Tyler State Park. Needed to bring a pet at the last minute and was relieved it wasn't a big issue. The only little nit-pick was even though there was instant I wished there was a coffee maker.

Wonderful

Owners were very friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed the area very much. We had our three dogs with us that didn't want to leave! They loved it! They met other friendly dogs and had a blast. The lodging was also great. Owners put so much thought into making it like a home away from home. Very detail oriented. You just needed your cloths and toothbrush and EVERYTHING else was taken care of. We will definitely return. Probably sooner than later!
