Nestled beside a serene pond with a private pathway and backing onto lush, mature forest, this charming bungalow offers exceptional outdoor space and privacy, with only one neighbour, separated by trees and a fence.

The home features two driveways—one paved and one unpaved—for easy access. Inside, you’ll find an oversized refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer, and dryer included.

Enjoy the cozy covered porch, perfect for sipping your morning coffee, relaxing with an afternoon cocktail, or taking in breathtaking sunsets over the pond. A porch swing invites you to unwind and breathe in the fresh saltwater air.

Heating and cooling options include a mini-split system (heat and A/C), a wood-burning stove, and radiators, giving you year-round comfort. The home also offers two entrances—one via paved driveway and one by steps. The bathroom is updated with a full-sized shower.

The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living room create the perfect space for gatherings. For larger get-togethers, overflow onto the spacious deck or into one of the large outbuildings—ideal for a Newfoundland-style kitchen party!

Outbuildings include:
• 1 greenhouse (garden hot house)
• 1 garden/tool shed
• 2 large buildings (approx. 14’ x 20’ and 14’ x 30’)

Located just one minute from the Trans-Canada Highway (Exit 31, Brigus Junction), this home combines peaceful country living with easy access to amenities in Mahers, Newfoundland (A0B 1G0).

Bring your own paper towels, dish soap and bathroom amenities ie toilet paper, shampoo etc. NO wifi available runs on well water so you might like to bring your own drinking water. No bbq.

This home was in a very convenient location for our plans. Our first impression it was a very clean and fresh place. The listing said we needed to bring our own towels and linens but the towels provided were quite nice. However, if a place is pet friendly there needs to be extra care given to ensure bedding and rugs are free from pet hair.

It was a bit hard to get to because of the detour with exit 31 eastbound being closed. House was comfortable although it could use some furniture in the bedrooms. I enjoyed reclining on the deck(I brought my own chair). There's a nice view of the pond. The owners' uncles were very helpful and accommodating.

Old school home. Has everything you need. Clean. Not really close to stores so bring groceries. Be nice if it had a bbq. Great area to stay if you want to get outdoors. Lots of firewood there. Lit the stove in the backyard and had a quiet evening.

My property is located walking distance to the TCH.

Instead of travelling 20-30 mins just to rest your head for the night, you can drive and within one minute you're at my home with a full kitchen, two bedrooms and a living room with laundry facilities. Bring your own linens and towels.
