For a rental this was not as expected. It was very small, especially the shower and first floor bedroom, which had no space for anything but the bed. There are confusing details or omissions, notably the name of the cottage is different than listed making it hard to know where you’re going. No details or signage on beach access. No local area info left out. Check out rules posted on the side of the fridge were different than our cottage in particular, ie run the dishwasher but we didn’t have one (also gross because guests are expected to wash their own dishes so you’re trusting past guests to be clean). The kitchen was not stocked with regular things and table looked dirty. No plastic items which is odd being close to a beach. Bug traps on the floor (not safe for pets). Also one sign said no pets, but it’s a dog friendly rental, again confusing. Side door didn’t close well, so potential for things to come on in. No cable only HBO. Honestly overpriced for after season during the week. It’s an old outdated beach cottage but def needs some love and updating for the price. It’s close to the beach which is great but not a price I’d pay again for this rental.

Great location. The upstairs bedrooms have slanted ceilings, so the space is funky but we managed just fine. (Two full size beds and a single up there).The main fridge was making lots of high pitched whining noises our first night, but the next day the manager brought us a mini fridge that solved the issue.Overall a wonderful stay, comfy couch, beautiful sunsets, the works! (Could use a teapot).

The cottage was exactly the right place for a low key, easy weekend stay. The listing was accurate and I would recommend that anyone take some time to relax on the bay here.
