We came in for a short trip for a funeral. Found this home last minute. It was perfect for the 7 of us. Close to Owensboro but out in the woods. Peaceful and quiet. I would recommend this house to anyone. It was too hot to sit outside but I know it would be beautiful outside in the fall. The host was great on contacting us with all information before we arrived. It was very clean and the air conditioner worked great.

A quiet retreat

The cabin was in a beatiful setting - very quiet and peaceful. Many birds around and the owner even left mixture for us to fill the hummingbird feeders!

Hummingbird Cabin

We had a lovely stay. We had coffee on the porch each morning and shared it with many hummingbirds. The property was very quiet and felt very secluded. The place was clean and the AC worked well!

Cabin in the woods - I loved this place.

Quiet and tasteful furnishings and real rustic interior feel but modernized even though it’s an older cabin with very comfortable beds and good Internet connections and skylights and lots of windows so bright inside. Run on sentence or what!

Family Reunion Weekend

We came back home to OWB and the hotel that we traditionally have stayed at for the past 5 years had progressively loosened its standards of hospitality. A pleasant surprise was this gem in Windy Hallow 15 minutes from the Boro, the cabin provides a great respite from a busy day of events out in town and in the area. Overall a great stay, only a few critics regarding layout or renovations, the upstairs office looks over the closed bedroom with 2 beds, I think it would be better used as a 2nd full bath from the loft bedroom. Additionally the loft bedroom could use small blinds to help with the 5am sunrise to help you sleep in if you're upstair. We along with our dogs thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to staying again.
