Property was absolutely beautiful! Great place to relax and enjoy the peace and beauty Smithville and the surrounding area has to offer. Can’t wait to return and bring my family!
The gorgeous high windows sold us on this place, but there was sooo much more! The home was very spacious, yet cozy at the same time. Loved the outdoor seating area around the firepit… it was the perfect spot to watch the sunset. The hot tube was also a nice amenity. The house was very clean and had all the amenities listed. We were not too far from some good breweries and hiking/waterfalls. The area is so quiet and peaceful. It was honestly a perfect place for a relaxing weekend in Tennessee and we will definitely be going back. Warning… that is a steep incline to park your vehicle. My boyfriend rented a Jeep just because he has one already at home and that made it easy to go up and down. Just something to consider if you’re renting a vehicle to stay here. The host was very responsive. Highly recommend this hideaway! It’s a gem!
The house is ADORABLE!! Clean, up to date, with all the amenities you could ask for! The only downfall was THE DRIVEWAY! Thankfully we are all able bodied people and could manage it, but with difficulty. If we had an elderly adult, someone with mobility issues or bad knees, they never would have made it up the driveway. Also, we were not able to get our minivan up the driveway and you could see scrapes where others had tried. Would be great if they could make a paved pad at the bottom for parking and create stairs up to the level part of the lot. Also, lots of skinny windy roads to get to the house. Beautiful scenery, but make sure you are wide awake traveling. Otherwise, there was a ton of communication and it was a great stay!
