We apologize for the problems you encountered with the A/C system during your stay. It was our hope our response with the portable window units provided during the time the a/c was down would codify the situation but as you noted we did get a contractor there to correct the problem as soon as possible. We regret the inconvenience and hope you come back again soon for a 5-Star experience.

We do check for these things before each arrival, but sometimes things happen quickly as was the case during your stay. Please come back again soon.

We also apologize for the misunderstanding on our starter supply of items including one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. We provide a starter supply but do not replenish during your stay. We also regret the hot tub was running low on water during your stay. Our technicians ensure the hot tub is sanitized and fully operational on your day of arrival and then check it again on day 3. We will ensure our standards are followed on the future. We are so glad you had a great time and hope you come back for a 5-Star experience next time!

We have consulted with the property owner on a few of these items so future guests will see improvement. Your review helps us ensure we get the right information to make corrective action. Again, thank you. We also appreciate you clarifying our long time process here on the OBX of not leaving things like spices (many guests are wary about using items like this they can't be sure are sanitary), and clearing the cabinets of leftover stuff like aluminum foil. We have an area on the listing where we clarify what starter supplies we leave at the houses for our guests.
