Come enjoy all Maine has to offer in this adorable quiet country stay a while bungalow fully furnished on a beautiful 200 acre farm property close to lakes, beaches, mountains, local brewery’s, Restaurant’s, Old Orchard Beach, Sebago Lake, City of Portland, shopping, biking, hiking, antiquing, local country wedding venue’s, fresh local farmstand’s and all Maine attraction’s.

This adorable bungalow with outside deck & sunset views has wireless Internet, stainless steel appliance’s, fully equipped kitchen, lovely open concept LR/kitchen with TV and pull out queen sofa bed in couch for xtra sleeping space with lovely country furniture and coat closet/storage. A queen sized pedestal bed with under storage in cozy master bedroom with full closet space and bureau for your stay, Field views of wildlife out your windows. Beautiful bathroom with full fiberglass tub/shower, hotel collection bath towel’s and stackable Washer/Dryer for all your laundry needs. Country Stay A While Bungalow is a great place to come to get away and enjoy all Maine has to offer all the while staying in your own quiet country bungalow for the same price of one nights stay in a hotel. We are located just 5 miles from grocery stores and local towns and 20 minute’s to Old Orchard Beach or 12 miles to Sebago Lake or 20 minute’s to Portland. Come stay a while and enjoy your stay. This is an all new property great for a couple to enjoy a vacation in Maine in a quiet area close to all attractions and the City of Portland. We accept 7 night stays or longer in this beautiful new bungalow.

Please note price per night is based on 2 guests. We do set ups of linens & towels for 2 guests staying with us. Additional preregistered guests are $45.00 per night per person. There is an additional $100.00 Linen/Laundering Fee for additional bedding & towels for additional guests beyond 2.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Upon departure morning please shut off all lights and appliances and take trash to dumpster. You may leave the key provided on the table and shut the door and lock with keypad pad on door.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Anniversary get away

Stayed a while here for our wedding anniversary to use as a base while we explored the greater Portland area. It is iff the beaten path but just what we were looking for. We do not prefer to hear all the city noises when we sleep amd this was perfect. Thanks Cindy na

Better than the pictures and description! My stay was a little unconventional, and essentially used Stay A While as a home base of sorts for this impromptu trip home. Communication was great between Cindy and Jay, I'll be hoping to stay again soon as Stay A While was picture perfect. Thank you both!

Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I enjoyed a few days at Stay Awhile for our anniversary, and it was perfect! The property was super clean (important given COVID) and ready for us upon arrival, and Cindy and Jay even gifted us a bottle of champagne in celebration of our anniversary! It's about 25 min away from Portland, which worked well for us as we wanted to explore the area. Cindy and Jay provided us with several recommendations for our trip in terms of restaurants and things to do, which was much appreciated, and they were very prompt in replying to our messages/questions. Highly recommend and look forward to returning!

Best Little Place In Maine

We absolutely loved our time at Stay A While! It is such a cute little place, very comfortable and has everything you could need. This is by far the cleanest place I have ever stayed (including hotels, etc.) which is very important to me and everything looked brand new. Even though it’s small it feels spacious, loved the bathroom space and the washer/dryer, the kitchen included anything you would need to cook a meal. The location was so picturesque and peaceful, we saw deer every evening. Cindy is wonderful, very kind and responded so quickly! Thank you Cindy, it was perfect:)

Check in was fine and it was easy to find. BUT, this property at the time we rented said that it had two bedrooms plus the pull out couch in living room and it even noted what size bed was in each room. Imagine the surprise when we arrived to find only one. The owners agreed with us in writing that it was a confusing and misleading on the site and blamed VRBO and would look into but never got back to us. We notified VRBO who is working on an escalated level complaint to get our money refunded but no progress yet. Please proceed with caution, there are pictures of chairs set up looking at mountain view listed as "on property", there is no such view, there are pics of a waterfront "on property" and that doesn't exist either. Good luck!

Amazing Little Getaway!

The place was definitely what i could of asked for. Its like having your little own getaway from the world! the location was very peaceful and a beautiful sight to behold. It was close to a lot of great things to enjoy such as Portland and Old Orchard Beach. You had plenty of places to go shopping, grab groceries or go out to eat depending on your mood of the day! highly recommend this stay for anyone and all future bookers! would do it again!

We were nothing but pleased with our stay. Everything was so clean and the owners are so friendly and happy to offer suggestion lys for places to see. We found it’s location ideal as it was 30 minutes from all the areas we wanted to explore. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to explore Maine.
