Overall I’m happy with the stay, nice and clean and new, some improvements include more info regarding that one bedroom is combined with a kitchen & dining/ washing room. It will help guests not get a sudden surprise when turning up in the unit. Also you could provide an option for a dryer and perhaps a bigger clothes line outside . Thank you for the great stay.
We were happy enough with the unit but only for two couples just sharing for a night - the only hassle was that the toilet was accessed through the other bedroom which wasn't so good
The price through stayz of around 315 was too high even though I booked several weeks ago. The pillows were too thick and gave us neck pain. The bathroom was too small for that price and there were no hangers to hang clothes or towels in the bathroom. The shower was good but became too hot suddenly and took a while to cool down. The water on the floor of the shower took too long to drain out so maybe there is a blockage somewhere. The rubbish bin was also too small. The host family was very nice and hopefully they will improve it considering the high price paid per night.
The beds were wonderfully comfortable, and the fans and unit were very clean and well-suited for a short stay. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. While pets are allowed, I wouldn’t describe the accommodation as truly pet-friendly. There was no enclosed outdoor area for pets, which meant my granddaughter had to walk her dog a few houses down to a grassy, tree-lined corner for toileting, both in the morning and evening. The front door opens directly onto a road, and the space felt quite enclosed. The name of the property suggests a retreat, but it’s more accurately rooms built underneath a house. We could hear footsteps from the stairs above the bedroom, and there wasn’t a view or the sense of quiet one might expect from a retreat. Parking was available out front, but exiting required backing into traffic, which felt a bit tricky.Overall recommend it for non pet travelers wanting a comfortable bed for the night.
