The cozy, rustic cottage with off street parking for 3 cars, features a large backyard , 3 fireplaces , a stone internal fireplace , a fire pit and a large chimonea for outside dining, and citrus orchard. IT has 3 queen sized bedrooms, and sleeps up to 6 people comfortably at Autumn Leaves Cottage.
Full sized bathroom with bath , plus extra outside toilet.Kitchen has every convenience including dishwasher, Smeg oven and gas cooktop, air fryer and coffee machine, rice cooker and large foccacia / sandwich maker.
Outside there are 2 fireplaces, a firepit plus a large chimonea, outside dining table and chairs.Large backyard overlooking a small citrus orchard and the mountains beyond.
Situated across the road from the bicycle flow park, childrens play area, bike path and Pondage. THe library is 3 doors away, lt is a short , level walk or bike ride into the centre of Mt Beauty township. Bonus Walk to Mt Beauty airstrip. Bedrooms are quiet , peaceful .A relaxing setting to unwind after a day in the Alps.

We had a lovely stay in Mt Beauty including the gorge walk, a bike ride around the surrounding area and the kids playing in the river. We enjoyed and evening fire in the pit in the backyard. The house stayed amazingly warm without heating, despite the cold nights.

The house was indeed very cosy and very warm. Ideal for a holiday in the Mountains in Winter. It was a great place to came back to after a day spent skiing. Location excellent as quiet and close to the main hub of the town. Oh, and the bed was super comfortable!

Great base for Falls Creek getaway

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Autumn Leaves Cottage. We used the cottage as a base during our Falls Creek ski trip and found it convenient and comfortable. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and is cozy and warm. Our hostess went above and beyond to answer our questions and was helpful in every possible way. I highly rate this accommodation for families!

I have lived in Mt Beauty for 45 years. In that time I have been a member of the Mt Beauty Gliding Club, XC and downhill skiing, cycled and hiked through all the mountains in this area. I have sn extensive knowledge of the local area and restaurants.

Why they chose this property

I first came to Mt Beauty 45 years ago to learn to downhill ski at Falls Creek. I arrived by plane , and was astounded at the beauty of the Kiewa Valley.

What makes this property unique

Right in the heart of Mt Beauty , it is a flat, level 7 minute walk into the centre of Mt Beauty. It os perfectly situated right opposite the Flow Park, children's play area, and only 3 doors up from The Pondage and lake area. You can leave your car at home and walk or cycle to restaurants, hotels and bike trails.
