Quiet and beautiful place to stay. Immaculate with all the amenities. Beds were super comfortable. Loved that is was secluded but walking distance to everything you needed. Would definitely come back again!

This is a charming cabin on a beautiful property. Wonderful outdoor areas. The cabin is ideal for working remotely, entertaining as well as simply ‘coming home” after a day of touring. Highly recommend!

We loved the newness and cleanliness of the cute cabin. Beds were very comfortable. The cabin is close to Chimney Rock, the cute little town, and some restaurants with good food and service. We had a very nice stay at Happy Bear, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

10 out 10. Quiet neighborhood and an absolute lovely home. Exactly what I was looking for. A quiet relaxing location with access to food, groceries and adventure within minutes from the home. Missed the opportunity to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit due to the weather but overall enjoyed every minute of the stay.

The cabin is brand new and highly maintained! Our stay was absolutely perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 kids). Perfect size for us and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Kitchen was user friendly and well stocked. We will definitely book this property again when we come back to Lake Lure. Thanks for a wonderful stay during our vacation!

A perfectly-sized, lovely home surrounded by woods and nature. Very clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed its proximity to Chimney Rock and loved our nightly visits by a small black bear who tried (and failed) to open the trash receptacle holder with each visit. Thank you for a much needed vacation!

What an amazing home! It is beautiful, clean, and has everything you need and more to be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. It is a perfect spot to get away and enjoy the wonderful outdoor amenities while stargazing. It is close to several resturants and places to grab a drink while enjoying the beautifil sunsets. Communication with the management team was prompt and easy. We are already telling our friends and family, and planning our next trip back. We may bring some others to stay near by at sister property Bear Paw, which was equally as beautiful.
