CABINE 56 - Comme une cabine de Bateau à l'entrée du Port

Cabine 56 is a nice little flat facing the sea at the entrance of the Port of Marseille, the Mucem, the Major Cathedral and the emblematic district of the Panier. Atypical, one can believe to be in a big boat cabin, the sea being visible from everywhere, and even from the bed. This flat is located in one of the most famous buildings of the architect Fernand Pouillon, classified as a historical monument. Tastefully renovated in 2021, it is a sought-after place to discover Marseille.

Composition of the flat:
The flat consists of 2 rooms connected by a corridor with sea view. The entrance is in the kitchen with a table for lunch or dinner for two. The hallway across the whole width of the flat offers a magnificent sea view from where you can admire the boats entering the port or those at the quay. At the end of the corridor is the bedroom with a large bed and a large wardrobe. The plus point is the sea view from the bed.

The access to the flat is a little surprising as you have to go downstairs when you enter the building, but the view will make you forget about it.
The flat is fully equipped to make you feel at home: Wifi / Nespresso coffee machine / Free coffee capsules

You will be welcomed on site in a personalized way by a person of the Cocoonr Marseille agency who will present you the accommodation, answer your questions and give you the keys.

Cabine 56 Everything apart from toilet and shower were good. Water in shower was stuck after first use of it, so we did not shower after first day. Apart from this all good. Location is good, but not the best for Marseille.

Cabine 56 "Denke das wir dort nochmal hin fahren. 🙂 Der Weg durch den Keller war erst etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber dann ok. Toilette ist nur für kleine Leute und statt Tür nur einem Duschvorhang. Dafür war die Lage einmalig und man konnte vom Bett das Meer sehen. 🙁 Die Toilette. Aber man hat sich schnell dran gewöhnt."

Cabine 56 "En arrivant dans l’immeuble, Nous descendons dans les caves : une odeur d’égout se fait alors ressentir jusqu’à “l’appartement”. Arrivée sur place, la fille de l’agence nous présente très brièvement l’endroit sans même nous montrer toilette et salle de bain.. normal il n’y en a pas! Le toilette se situe sous le chauffe-eau: nous sommes obligés de baisser la tête pour nos besoins, séparé du reste de la pièce par un rideau. Même combat pour la salle de bain: un simple receveur d’eau caché par un rideau, pas d’évier rien. La grande baie vitrée était d’un sale extraordinaire, et elle ne fermait pas du tout, ce qu’il fait qu’il y avait un courant d’air permanent, la fermeture était assurée par des bouts de bois intercalés dans les rails. Enfin, la porte n’avait pas de poignée, nous ne pouvions pas sortir sans clé, ce qui est très dangereux si nous sommes deux et que l’autre personne est partie avec la clé, en cas d’évacuation urgente impossible de s’en sortir. On est resté 2h."

Cabine 56 "Nous avons été ravis de notre logement Airbnb, c’était vraiment impeccable. Super emplacement, arrivé sur place simple et efficace et bien reçu par le Monsieur de l’agence. Le seul petit bémol que j’ajouterai a été quand nous avons voulu réserver une nuit de plus et que nous avons voulu joindre l’agence Cocoon. Un temps d’attente long sur une boîte vocale enregistrée et je n’ai pu finalement avoir personne. Nous avons donc du trouver un autre Airbnb pour la dernière nuit. Mais sinon très bien."

Veel bezienswaardigheden bevinden zich op loopafstand en anders kost een taxi slechts tussen de 10 en 15 euro. 🙁 Er is geen airconditioning. Dit maakt dat de accommodatie erg warm kan worden en af en toe moeilijk afkoelt. Daarnaast ligt de accommodatie aan de kant van een vrij drukke weg waardoor er relatief veel lawaai was tijdens ons verblijf. De boiler die boven de wc hing was ook niet heel comfortabel Ik moest bukken om te kunnen zitten op het toilet."

Cabine 56 "Le prix de la location est excessif malgré un emplacement exceptionnel. 🙂 Ce logement est parfaitement situé. Nous n'avons pas pris la voiture du séjour: le Mucem et la grotte Cosquer sont en face, l'appartement se situe juste à coté du Vieux Port et du panier. De plus, la vue est agréable. Enfin, la communication avec le personnel de l'agence a été très sympathique. 🙁 Le logement est en fait deux caves réunies. Donc d'une part cela oblige à descendre dans les caves de l'immeuble ce qui n'est pas très agréable mais en plus il n'y a ni isolation thermique, ni isolation phonique. C'était donc un peu bruyant et un peu froid. De ce fait, le prix nous est apparu donc un peu excessif... C'est dommage!"

Cabine 56 "Logement très bien, super équipé et avec une belle vue. 🙂 Le logement était très adapté pour un séjour de plusieurs jours. Nous avons été accueilli par Mme Chafai qui a été adorable et de très bon conseil pour nos visites. Très agréable d’avoir à faire a des professionnels sympathique et sérieux. Le logement est fonctionnel et bien équipé. C’est une adresse que nous garderons en tête lorsque nous reviendrons sur Marseille. Je recommande 🙁 Le seul point négatif serait les sanitaires qui ne se ferme que par rideaux. La mise en place d’une porte étant impossible au vu de la structure explique cela."

Es lag super zentral. Allerdings hätte man pro Person statt 1 Handtuch und. Badetuch pro Person auch jeweils 2 pro Person für die 14 Tage hinlegen können. Das mit dem Duschvorhang beim WC war etwas schlecht.
