This 1-bedroom in-law suite overlooks Farmer's Arm, a quiet cove in scenic Twillingate. Once home to a Merchant and his family, this unit is an in-law suite attached to a larger rental home. The suite offers a quaint and cozy space to experience life in an outport community. You'll sit on your own private deck and watch the fishermen come and go, and maybe even catch a glimpse of an iceberg or sea creature.
The space
You enter this unit into the cozy living area/kitchenette. The bedroom is off of the living/kitchenette area and the full bathroom is accessed through the bedroom. The Kitchenette is more suited to cook small meals or a breakfast, its not suited for cooking very large meals. There is a toaster oven, toaster and a plug in two burner cooktop. There is also a large private deck to enjoy.
Guest access
The Little Cove shares a driveway with The Cove (or main house). Other than the driveway, there are no other shared areas.
Other things to note
The home is 2 units combined. Little Cove shares a wall with The Cove. Little Cove does not have access to the other unit.
The kitchenette is quite small and not really suited to cooking full meals. We've tried to make it as useful as possible in a tight space.

The unit was clean and provided everything we needed to enjoy a couple of days to visit the local attractions. It was as advertised with no surprises!!!The deck was a great place to enjoy a morning coffee overlooking the water.
Beautiful property looking over a bay in a tiny fishing village. Located just out of town and in a very quiet area. The home was very clean and equipped with everything that we required. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Twillingate.
What a cozy little spot in a beautiful setting. Matt and Tamara, are the new owners of this VRBO. They are very responsive and were very excited to make our stay as memorable as possible. It was easy to find, and minutes to the main section of the town of Twillingate. Can't go wrong renting this place!
Perfect space for 2 people if you don't need a full kitchen. Tamara was quick to respond to messages and questions. Place was clean, just as pictured and close to everything in the Twillingate area.
Very clean. Well cared for property.Loved the fresh homemade bread and jam left as a welcome giftOur host Tamara was a lovely lady who helped us find a taxi when the one we had booked the evening before bailed on us. Great communication and easy checkin
We enjoyed our stay on Twillingate Got to see icebergs up close. The kitchen was tiny but bedroom and bathroom were huge. We tried to sit out on the patio for a bit but the weather was not helping us out.
The Little Cove was a wonderful place to stay , you overlook the harbour and easy to find.. The place is well organized . The kitchen is well stocked with pretty much everything you should need . When we arrived there was some gifts from the host Tamara and Mat. Very nice surprise especially the homemade bread. The place was very clean . Bathroom was big and water pressure in the shower was good . The instructions from Tamara with the code to get in were easy to follow. We highly recommend this place .
Small cottage attached to a larger one. Well equipped for its size and limitations. Was very clean and served us well. Coffee and toast in the morning and then off and about for the rest of the day. Would have been nice to have a washer and dryer but room would not permit it. Only complain and i believe the new owners are aware of this is very poor sound proofing between the two units. At times during our stay there was 2 couples next door and could be heard very clearly.
