Perfect Getaway - Your Sanctuary Among Nature

This is large 420 square-foot suite in our home with separate entrance. Your space includes a kitchenette, dining area, three piece bathroom, master bedroom, large living room and even a laundry room. The country side and amazing views in the area are surrounded by farms and wineries. You can enjoy shopping and nightlife in Niagara Falls and St. Catharines, yet you come home in 15 minutes to a ravine with babbling brook, fire pit and nature trails right in your back yard. Relax or bar-be-que and enjoy a meal on the large deck overlooking the ravine. We border Short Hills Provincial Park with trails for hiking, bicycling or horse-back riding. The huge above-grade windows display the scenery and let lots of light flood into this basement suite. Close to golf courses, vineyards, antique shops, restaurants and pubs. Our guests rave about the the quiet serenity and peacefulness surrounding us.

We enjoyed our stay at this property very clean and quiet. All we could hear was the sounds of nature!! Would definitely visit again when time permits us to do so.

We loved our stay here. Wish we would have spent more time enjoying the nature in the back yard. We enjoyed the little pond with the frogs and fish. The place was very comfortable and homey.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay as a family of four. The suit was updated, clean, quiet and had everything we needed, plus more... not a detail missed! The outside space is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed watching the birds and multiple other wildlife, sitting on the deck and listening to the stream off in the distance, having the yard space to play frisbee as a family and unwinding at night with a campfire and smores. Mike and Michelle, you are outstanding hosts and we hope to visit again soon!

Hosting guests in our suite has become a passion for us. We are Mike and Michelle Manzoni and we have a property that would be an absolute sin not to share with others.

Why they chose this property

We keep the suite and property in pristine condition - to standards we would expect if we were guests here. We decided from the beginning that this location should be much more than a place to keep the rain off your head. It is a place where you enjoy the serenity of nature. We keep the bird feeder filled with seeds that attract all species of birds for your enjoyment. The pond is stocked with goldfish. Watching them is very calming. We added a waterfall to the creek in the ravine so the water can be heard as it passes through our property. This too is very calming.

What makes this property unique

We chose this property because it is completely surrounded by trees, birds and nature. We can barely see our distant neighbors. A deer trail runs along our fence line and we often see families of deer crossing the road here.
