Exec Bay w/heated Pool, Marina, Beach, Pets ok, Tennis/Pickleball

Come and relax at our beautiful Executive Bay Club (EBC) townhouse T2 in the “T” building. EBC is located in Islamorada, mile marker 87, the Sport Fishing Capital of the World. It is a private, gated community and the grounds have 2 tennis/pickleball courts, a swimming pool, a clubhouse, a private beach area and a fishing dock. The waters are filled with abundant marine life, ideal for snorkeling.

BONUS with your rental agreement you have free access to Founder`s Park next door where you can enjoy the beach and snorkeling, etc. They often have free concerts and other free events too. The park has trails for running, walking and biking and more!

If you would like to bring your boat your can dock it at Founders Park for a reasonable fee, which is right next door to the Executive Bay Club. NO docking allowed at the EBC marina.

***Small dogs allowed with pre-approval by owner. Max 2 dogs, weighing no more than 20lbs each. And the condo association requires that each pet be registered with them.

Just what our family needed

I was wanting to do a family getaway while staying somewhere in the Keys. I got lucky and found this property and was afraid it was too good to be true. The description was very accurate and perfect for what our family needed. The townhome felt like a home away from home. The townhome is very spacious and all the neighbors and guards were friendly. I would stay here again when we come back down and unwind.

Secret Gem

My husband and I recently returned from Islamorada after spending a month at this rental. We believe that the description of the condo was exactly as they described it on Vrbo but with one exception. They left out a key point, Founders Park. You would be doing a disservice to yourself if you did not obtain a guest pass from the park for the entire length of your stay. My husband and I walked to the adjacent Founders Park every day to enjoy the beach and snorkeling. We also enjoyed two free concerts and other free events the month we were there. The park has trails for running, walking and biking which was great since we had brought our bikes on vacation with us.

Suggested upgrades

1)Replace all table lamp shades. Plastic liner is completely missing on one and cracked and missing pieces on others. 2)Replace all flood lamps in kitchen with A19 bulbs like those on the row of bulbs along kitchen cabinets. 3)Master bedroom mattress should be replace. The approx. 4” foam mattresses topper was horrible and we removed it and slept on the 20+ year old mattress. 4)Re-arrange the master bedroom like the other and mount the TV on the wall or at least on top of the tall chest of drawers. 5)Discard all the mismatched kitchen silver ware and replace with 2 8-piece sets from Walmart. 6)Install minimum 100 watt or equivalent bulbs in all table lamps. 6)Replace all floor mats with rubber backed mats similar to those in the bathrooms. The rental manager was very responsive to our request for things that needed attention during our stay.

Islamorada Stay

The location of the property is good but it is in a large complex. And so busy when we first arrived. I’d rather stay at a more intimate resort! When I’m staying in Islamorada I’d rather be right on the water, the unit was too far from the water area for us. Founders park next door was very convenient and is a really great park! We were able to enter the park for free as we were staying in Islamorada! The Condo was spacious enough but to say it sleeps six was a stretch. The loft is a cramped and a very hot space. The spiral staircase to the second floor is not the easiest to climb. We did have a problem with the downstairs shower head when we first arrived, the water trickled out. But after calling Vivian she took care of the problem quickly. The dryer started making a noise but still worked. I called Vivian again but since it was still working nothing was done to fix it. The condo was furnished nicely and comfortable enough. It was surface clean but could use a deep cleaning! Would I stay there here again, I would not. When I’m on vacation I want the place where I stay to be special and also a place that I enjoy being in. This was not, it was just ok!

You are the first person that has not enjoyed themselves at Executive Bay. Our unit is a short walk to the pool, beach and marina. This is a beautiful complex with lots to do and full of families and kids; admittedly July is one of the busiest times of the year. Kids love our loft as it is cozy and private, but it is not ideal for adults. The place is constantly deep cleaned, so I’m not sure what concerned you?

Perfect!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I saw a review that mentioned a few issues but when we arrived, the unit was clean and well lit. The master bed had a new mattress. And new lamps. The townhouse has a backyard which was great for us. The facilities are well maintained. It’s close to restaurants. The perfect place for us! We will be back!!

Honest review.

Location was great the unit had the equivalent of used dorm furniture from my college days dirty couch, lamp Shades falling apart, dollar store kitchen equipment. The towels were ragged and few to be had. The TV was broken and took 12 days to replace. There were two lamps in main room with a a total of 20 watts. A candle would have been better. One bed was comfortable the others should be trashed. Two of the 6 ceiling lights in the kitchen didn’t work because the sockets are defective. The knobs on the washer are broken off. I will never rent this unit again. My wife and I leased another unit for next year. The people who own this unit should wake up and spend some money as though they might want to stay there.

Great Condo in the keys

Awesome location. We enjoyed our stay, and plan on returning next year. Pool is heated. Fishing off the dock was great. Good place to snorkel, kayak, and enjoy the water. Safe gated community. Our teenage kids loved it!

Great location, place can use some work

Great location, out dated place. All the lighting was lamps that you have to switch on except for kitchen and bathroom. A large window treatment fell on me when I was pulling it down and cut my leg. The plumbing barley flushes down. The sliding door for the washer/ dryer kept derailing so I left it off. Hauling your luggage up the circular steps requires a young teenager to haul it. But seriously, all said and done the place is OK. Location makes up for all the other stuff. I would rent it again. Maybe at a lower cost. And I rented it as one of the cheapest ones out there. Over all I am happy.
