Go for a sunset stroll down Whiffin Spit trail and stop at the renown Sooke Harbour House for a cocktail or appies. Travel down West Coast Road and discover our many beautiful beaches. And at the end of your day snuggle in to a cozy, very comfortable king size bed. Our goal is to make sure you are comfortable so you can enjoy all the beauty that Sooke has to offer.

The Seaside Perch is a fantastic getaway spot for 2. The location is excellent just outside of Sooke and walking distance to Whiffin Spit. The suite is like new, super clean and very well furnished. Everything you could need is provided. The hosts are very nice and communication was great. We would definitely stay at the Seaside Perch again.

5 Stars for Seaside Perch! This charming suite exceeded my expectations. Immaculately clean, with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, and lovely outdoor private patio. Paula (our host) went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The location was perfect as well...close to amenities and only a few minutes walk to Whiffin Spit beach. Thank you Paula and Ed. We will definitely come back again.

Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Excellent, clean and quiet accommodation. Great location, a block from the water and the Whiffen Spit where we had a great long walk out and caught a beautiful sunset on the way back.

We loved our stay at the seaside perch! The suite is very clean, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed. The hosts are extremely friendly, and the location is perfect – close to the ocean, and close to Sooke Harbour House where we could visit the bakery, and have a nice dinner. We will definitely come again!

We loved the loft we rented. It was newly remodelled and very clean and had all the conveniences of home. The bed was so comfy and the shower was spacious and felt like a spa. The kitchen was well stocked and I loved the coffee/tea/creamers to get us through the day without having to go to a restaurant for our fix. I was able to enjoy the outdoor furniture to read and enjoy the fresh air. There was even white robes to lounge around in. We saw so many deer in the neighbourhood. And the spit walk at the end of the road is a wonderful easy sunset hike with great views. This place is truly a hidden gem. I only wish we were staying for longer!

Perfect BC Getaway – Absolutely Flawless!Our stay at this property was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how immaculately clean and well-maintained everything was—it truly felt like a five-star resort.The property itself is absolutely beautiful, perfectly capturing the stunning, natural charm of British Columbia. The views were incredible, the space was beautifully decorated, and it had every amenity we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing vacation.What really made our trip special, though, were the hosts. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and communicative from start to finish. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed while still giving us complete privacy. We are so grateful to Paula and Ed for their hospitality! Wow. It was the best experience for us because both of them treated us so warmly. From the fresh eggs and milk in the fridge to the immaculately clean and beautifully decorated space - everything was a wow. We highly recommend this space. So close to the beach too!

Simply Incredible

The suite was just incredible! My husband and I were so impressed by the cleanliness, terrific layout and decor of the space. The bed was sooooo comfortable. We also very much appreciated the privacy and lovely touches such as the fresh flowers and eggs, coffee and cream. This suite is a true oasis located close to fine dining (Sooke Harbour House), Prestige hotel and a lovely sunset walk on Whiffin Spit! We were close to the Sooke Hills' hikes that we love and French beach too...couldn't ask for more. Thank you:)

The hostess Paula, went beyond and extra for me and my little one (20 months). She had outfitted the place to be child friendly and further let me check in early so i can pick him up from the airport for a smooth trabsition into the suite. she also extended the checkout so we could stay extra time until it was time to go to the airport.She left toys, created a small bed, made the plugs in child proof among the many other beyond the usual treatment of a guest.i left thinking i could go back there anytime for an equal to hopd experience. Nearby we saw sombrio beach, big lonely dog, the shaw marine ecology centre and the local sooke pier.great experience.

Hello John, thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. It’s unfortunate that you felt like it only rated a six as it’s my goal to give our guests the very best experience. A As per the note that you left us when you checked out, Th The soaps we purchase for our suite are locally made here on the island and are all natural ingredients. The shampoo and body soap are both the same so you can use it on your hair or to wash your body. Our suite is on its own hot water system you just have to give it a minute to heat up, but we certainly have plenty of hot water. as it’s on its own gas unit. Thank you for the suggestion about the sports channel. We think it’s a great idea and we have now added it to our list of channels. All the best and we welcome you back in the future.
